The Messenger( Iva) novel Chapter 286

Light and Darkness-1

The world swam back into focus slowly.

Lori lay in Attia’s arms, her body still trembling from the aftershocks of her release, her skin tingling where his teeth had sunk into her neck. The mark pulsed with a warmth that spread through her entire being-a constant reminder that she was his, and he was hers.

But something was missing.

Something primal and urgent.

Her wolf stirred inside her, restless and demanding.

“Mark him back,” Layla growled. “Now. Before it’s too late. Make him ours. He belongs with us.”

Lori’s eyes snapped open.

Attia was still hovering above her, his dark eyes hazy with satisfaction, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. The mark on her neck was fresh, still bleeding slightly, a beautiful wound that would soon become a permanent scar.

But he was not marked in return.

Lori reached up and touched his face, her fingers tracing the strong line of his jaw.

“Attia,” she whispered.

He looked down at her, his expression soft.

“I need to mark you too,” she said, her voice trembling/”I need to-I can’t-”

Attia’s eyes widened.

Then a slow, possessive smile spread across his lips.

“Then do it,” he said, his voice low and rough. “Claim me, Lorelei. Make me yours.”

Lori’s heart pounded.

She pushed herself up, reversing their positions until she was straddling him. Her thighs gripped his hips, her core still throbbing with the echoes of her pleasure. She could feel him beneath her, still hard, still ready, still wanting.

She leaned down and pressed her lips to his neck.

His skin was hot against her mouth, tasted of salt and desire. She kissed the sensitive spot where his neck met his shoulder, the same place where he had marked her.

Attia’s breath caught. His hands gripped her hips, his fingers digging into her flesh.

“Do it,” he growled. “Do it now.”

Lori’s teeth sank into his neck.

She bit down hard, tasting blood, feeling his body tense beneath her. A roar tore from his throat-not pain, but pure, primal satisfaction. His hands tightened on her hips, and she felt him pulse inside her, hard and ready.

She pulled back, licking the wound, sealing it with her tongue.

“Now you’re mine,” she whispered.

Attia’s eyes blazed.

He flipped them over, pinning her beneath him again, his body covering hers. He was still inside her, still hard, still hungry.

“You have no idea what you’ve just done,” he said, his voice a dangerous growl.

Lori’s breath caught.

“Now we are truly bound,” he continued. “Now there is no escape. For either of us.”

She smiled up at him, her eyes glinting with fire.

“I don’t want to escape,” she said. “I want you.”

His control shattered.

He drove into her again, hard and fast, claiming her with a ferocity that stole her breath. She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him deeper, meeting each thrust with equal passion.

They moved together in perfect rhythm-a primal dance that had been written in the stars long before they were born.

The room filled with their sounds-her moans, his growls, the wet slap of their bodies. The fire crackled and popped, casting dancing shadows across the walls.

Lori felt her third release building, and she knew Attia was close too.

“Together,” she gasped. “Come with me.”

He did.

They shattered together, crying out in unison, their bodies locked in a perfect embrace, as their bond snapped fully in place, locking them forever.
