The Mischievous Doctor (Finnegan and Nuthana) novel Chapter 311

“Finnegan, couldn't you really spare some respect for my grandfather and pay a visit to Mdm. Yeatman?”

On the other side, Alisha had driven Finnegan back to Dragon Bay, stopping the car as they neared Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa.

That was because Finnegan didn't want Bernice to see Alisha.

As for Alisha's words, Finnegan asked with a snort, “Your grandfather wants me to respect him, but who will respect me? Moreover, the fact that I didn't eliminate those two idiots was already a show of respect to your grandfather.”

Otherwise, given Jacqueline's demeanor and murderous intent at the time, Finnegan had no reason to let her and Jacques stay alive.

Alisha flashed him a bitter smile. “But Mdm. Yeatman was my grandfather's benefactor!”

“I, along with that old geezer, were your grandfather's benefactors too. We're not just ordinary benefactors either. We were his greatest benefactors,” Finnegan retorted with a cold indifference before pushing open the car door and stepping out.

He decided not to show Theoden any more respect.

Knowing that Finnegan was truly angry, Alisha let out a soft sigh and did not attempt to stop him.

Instead, she dialed Theoden's number.

Far away in Bellridge, Theoden had already understood the situation. After receiving the call, he sighed deeply and said, “Don't force Dr. Larkin. If he is unwilling, then let it be.”

“Grandpa, didn't you say that Mdm. Yeatman was your benefactor?”

Theoden replied, “Indeed, she was my benefactor. But over the years, I assisted Mr. Zymons and Norman, and later ensured her safety for decades. The debt of gratitude has long been paid off, leaving only a bond of affection. She herself is well aware that what remains between us is this bond!”

Upon hearing this, Alisha was taken aback. “What do you mean, Grandpa?”

Theoden's tone grew solemn as he said, “In this world, there is no debt of gratitude that cannot be repaid. However, the kindness shown to me by Dr. Aiello and Dr. Larkin is something I may struggle to repay in this lifetime. Therefore, the Wahlstrom family will no longer be involved in this matter. Whether the people at Fleur Villa can persuade Dr. Larkin to lend a hand depends entirely on their own capabilities. Furthermore, if you encounter Jacqueline and Jacques in the future, there's no need to back down. Even if we owe anything, it's to the old lady, not them!”

Alisha nodded. “I understand.”

After hanging up the phone, she looked toward Finnegan, who was almost at the entrance of Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa. “Without the Wahlstrom family leading the way, they probably wouldn't seek out Finnegan anymore, would they?”

Bernice was having dinner when Finnegan entered the villa, and there was also someone else present whom Finnegan hadn't expected to see.

Cindy?

“Why are you here too?”

With a complex expression, Cindy glanced at Finnegan and asked, “What, am I not welcome here?”

“You weren't here all day, so I asked Cin to keep me company,” Bernice said, gesturing at the chair next to her for Finnegan to sit down. “Didn't you say you wouldn't be back for dinner tonight?”

Finnegan settled down, accepting the tableware handed over by the housekeeper. “The relatives of the sick are unreasonable, so I won't treat them anymore!” he declared.

Upon hearing this, Bernice voiced her concern, “There won't be any trouble, will there?”

The Wahlstrom family had invited Finnegan over to perform a treatment, and a person who could persuade the Wahlstrom family to intervene on behalf of Finnegan must hold a high status.

She was worried that Finnegan would offend someone because of this.

“Don't worry. I can't speak for other places, but here in Jadeborough, there's hardly anyone who could cause me trouble,” Finnegan said, reassuring her.

Reflecting on Finnegan's network of connections, Bernice felt that her worries might have been somewhat unnecessary.

She then said, “Since you're free tonight and Cin happens to be here, why don't you treat her after dinner?”

After glancing at Cindy, who was even more eye-catching that night in her slightly tight-fitting dress, Finnegan said with a nod, “All right, but you'll have to be present later. I wouldn't want a certain someone accusing me of taking advantage of her.”

Recalling the treatment method Finnegan had discussed with her, Bernice nodded with a smile. “Sure!”

Cindy snorted. “What a petty mind!”

After dinner, Finnegan went to the room where he stored his medicinal herbs. He selected a few, ground them into powder, and then returned to his room.

Upon seeing him enter, Cindy, who was in conversation with Bernice, immediately became tense even though she had long been prepared to be treated by Finnegan.

Finnegan said, “Let's go to the room next door, this room belongs to my wife and I, so it's not suitable for me to treat you here.”

Before they could react, Finnegan had already left for the room next door, even going straight into the bathroom to fill the bathtub with water.

She was acting just like a little girl.

Finnegan pursed his lips, saying, “It seems you're still not ready. Let's forget about your treatment tonight, then. We can do it when you're truly prepared.”

“No, I'm ready,” Cindy said hastily.

Her cheeks turned even redder as she looked at Bernice, “Could you step outside?”

Although Bernice was a woman as well and had seen her body, Cindy really couldn't undress in front of Finnegan while Bernice was there.

After all, Finnegan was also Bernice's fiancé.

At this point, Bernice also felt somewhat embarrassed. “I'll leave, then. Watch where you're touching, Finnegan!”

She silently glared at Finnegan, her gaze clearly warning him to focus on the treatment and not to mess around.

Finnegan chuckled, “Melons, aren't you afraid that I might take advantage of you while Bernie isn't around?”

“I have prepared myself to receive your treatment, but you'd better not mess around, or I will drive a wedge between you and Bernie!”

Thinking she wasn't able to take a joke, Finnegan said with a sigh, “Then let's hurry up. The sooner we start, the sooner we'll finish.”

With her teeth clenched tightly, Cindy turned her back on Finnegan.

She began to undress, her hands raised but trembling slightly.

Finnegan didn't take it seriously at first, but when Cindy removed her shirt and pants, leaving only her underwear on, Finnegan's breath involuntarily hitched.

He could see her clearly through the mirror beside them.

Unbeknownst to Cindy, turning her back on Finnegan was futile, as the mirror beside them had already betrayed her.

Taking a deep breath, as if making a significant decision, she tore off her underwear as well.

Turning around, he said, “Come on, you shameless b*stard!”
