The Mischievous Doctor (Finnegan and Nuthana) novel Chapter 428

A carrot and a stick.

The choice was laid directly before Tyrone.

He could peacefully withdraw from Jadeborough, completely handing over Jadeborough to the Wahlstrom family, or face retaliation.

Of course, Finnegan's move was out of necessity.

If Tyrone weren't deeply rooted in Jadeborough and challenging for the Wahlstrom family's control, Finnegan would prefer to eliminate him altogether!

And so, faced with the choice presented by Finnegan, Tyrone found himself completely torn.

He was unwilling to relinquish everything he had built over the years.

Yet, becoming a normal person was a dream he had harbored for many years.

Time slowly passed amidst this tense and oppressive atmosphere.

As the clock neared the five-minute mark, Finnegan turned around indifferently, “Vixen, once I leave this place, help me get in touch with the Haimowitz, Miles, and Chappell families, as well as the Langdon family and Stephen. From tonight onward, gather all the power and resources to crush Tyrone for me!”

His tone was cold, and a murderous intent filled the air.

Tyrone suddenly looked up. “I agree!”

He didn't fear the Haimowitz, Miles, Langdon and Chappell families.

But if the Wahlstrom family got involved, even if he could shake the foundation of the Wahlstrom family, he would die a horrible death.

He was willing to fight to his death, but he didn't want to die.

With a sly glint passing over his face, Finnegan turned around and said, “Mr. Calandrino, I didn't force you, did I? You agreed willingly, right?”

Tyrone's mouth twitched fiercely, but he said nothing.

Theoden and others were left speechless.

Isn't this coercion? You are not leaving him with any way out!

However, Finnegan obviously had no such awareness. He walked up to Tyrone, patted his shoulder, and said, “Mr. Calandrino, you are a smart man who made the right choice.”

While still resting a hand on Tyrone's shoulder, he added, “Come on, let's talk about how you can withdraw your people.”

Aware that he was completely at Finnegan's mercy, Tyrone said bitterly, “I'll make a call to have the one thousand and three thousand people return.”

As Finnegan walked inside with Tyrone, Alisha murmured, “Grandpa, is it resolved now?”

For years, the Wahlstrom family had been wary of Tyrone, trying to find ways to infiltrate Jadeborough and break Tyrone's control over it.

But in the end, there wasn't a single effective solution.

But now, Finnegan's few words had suppressed Tyrone, making him voluntarily withdraw. Alisha felt like she was dreaming.

With a smile, Theoden asked, “In the face of opposing Finnegan, the result is death, losing everything. Cooperating with Finnegan results in realizing our dreams and retaining most of our assets. What choice would you make?”

After thinking about Theoden's words, Alisha nodded. “I understand.”

Theoden walked over and patted Leonardo's shoulder. “Since Finnegan has handed Jadeborough over to you, I hope you won't disappoint me.”

Leonardo hadn't expected this outcome either. He nodded and replied, “Rest assured, Old Mr. Wahlstrom, I will certainly remain loyal to the Wahlstrom family.”

Jadeborough, which had been at odds with the Wahlstrom family, henceforth experienced no more upheavals.

At dawn, Finnegan stretched lazily and walked out of Tyrone Mansion, followed by Theoden and others.

Alisha had already parked the car at the entrance.

As he was about to get in the car, Finnegan looked back at Tyrone, whose right leg had clearly improved a lot. “Mr. Calandrino, what matters is the pursuit of wealth and nobility. Now that you have all of this, I hope you can cooperate with the Wahlstrom family.”

The Zymons family would undoubtedly take advantage of the opportunity to strike.

Alisha nodded, understanding why Finnegan didn't directly kill Tyrone.

Then she asked again, “But are you really not going to f*ck me? I'm getting damp.”

Finnegan's lips twitched.

Half an hour later, the approaching typhoon became increasingly intense.

It also brought the chill of the approaching winter, causing many people to take refuge in the warmth of their homes.

At the Wright residence, Stephen arrived at Nathan's room, wearing a raincoat.

The old man was sitting there, watching the morning news about the typhoon landing on the coast.

“Grandpa, Tyrone has been suppressed, and the Wahlstrom family will completely control the underground world of Nuthana.”

Nathan's hand, clutching the remote, trembled slightly. Frowning, he asked, “Didn't I make it clear to Theoden that we absolutely cannot lay a hand on Tyrone before finding a gentle solution? Does he really think a typhoon can cover everything up?”

Stephen chuckled. “Grandpa, he didn't cause a fuss.”

He then relayed all the newly acquired information to Nathan.

Upon hearing this, Nathan was slightly taken aback. “Finnegan got involved?”

“Correct!”

Upon confirmation, Nathan exclaimed with emotion, “He actually oppressed Tyrone by using a woman as a reason, directly seizing control of Tyrone's lifeline. This kid Finnegan is indeed beyond my expectations!”

Stephen nodded in agreement. “Moreover, after this incident, the Wahlstrom family will undoubtedly respect him even more.”

Theoden, however, saw something deeper. “He eliminated a threat, Tyrone, silently. Next, he would help the Wahlstrom family suppress the Zymons family. In the future, who in the five states in the southern region could possibly shake Finnegan? This kid is soon going to have the qualification to compete with the top figures!”
