The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1113

“Father, you’re really going to hand over the antidote to Franco?” Aloys stood there, frowning in disbelief.

“Unless you’ve got a better plan?” Allanson’s face, lined with age, was stormy with frustration.

Aloys couldn’t find the words. He knew Franco would stop at nothing for the antidote. Still, he never expected Franco to use the threat of those long-range cannons as an excuse to launch a hidden attack, betting everything Solenia had to strike at The Hawk Family’s businesses and shake their hold on the Isle of Veil. They hadn’t seen it coming and were forced to back down.

Aloys glanced at Allanson, who looked grim and unmoved. He couldn’t shake the feeling that his grandfather wasn’t just going to hand over the antidote, especially not after finding out Charlotte was Asclepius.

At the hotel, Charlotte ended her video call with Nora and curled up on the bed, half-asleep.

“Allanson finally gave in.” Anthony walked in, sat at the edge of the bed, and ran his fingers through her hair, his dark eyes unreadable. “But Solenia’s losses are pretty steep.”

Hearing that, Charlotte’s eyes flickered open, a cold sharpness flashing through them.

“We’ll wait another hour before we go.”

“Huh?” Anthony frowned, confused, but before he could say more, Charlotte grabbed her phone and called Solenia. “Triple the attack.”

“Triple?” The person on the other end was stunned. Tripling the attack would hit The Hawk Family hard, but Solenia would take a big hit too.

“Go all out. I’ll take the heat if anything goes wrong.” Charlotte sat up, her pretty face clouded over, and even through the phone, her aura was intense and intimidating.

“Yes, understood.”

The call ended, but the person on the other end didn’t dare decide alone and quietly asked Franco what to do.

Franco just said, “From now on, Lottie calls the shots for Solenia.”
