The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 747

“Higher position?” That could only mean vice president or president, right?

No wonder Lydia was so determined to accuse Dr. David of leaking the exam. She was after his job, trying to take him down and move up herself.

So ruthless.

Suddenly, the screen changed, and an audio recording started playing.

It was Lydia’s voice again.

“Charlotte’s hands are useless now. There’s no way she can finish the surgery. You did a great job. I’ll send you the rest of the money.”

“Relax. Charlotte has no power in Solenia. Forget about her hands. Even if she died here, no one would stand up for her.”

The whole room went silent. Every shocked face turned to Lydia.

No one had ever imagined that someone who was supposed to save lives could be so cruel and heartless.

And Lydia was a member of the International Medical Alliance. She was supposed to be a role model.

“So, Lydia was leaking the questions to Letty just to protect her own position all along.”

There was hard evidence. She didn’t even have a chance to explain herself.

As the recording ended, people started whispering all over the room.

“She was scared Charlotte would win, so she got someone to cause a car accident and hurt her hands.”

“Is she a doctor or a devil?”

“This isn’t just about breaking the rules or cheating anymore. She literally hired someone to hurt another person. This is serious.”

Lydia never thought the secrets she’d hidden so carefully would come out like this.

She stumbled, shaking her head desperately, trying to defend herself. “I didn’t leak anything. I didn’t hire anyone. Someone’s trying to frame me.”

“I’m calling the police!”

“Charlotte, thanks to the information you gave us, we were able to solve the case so quickly,” the officer said with a smile. “And congratulations on winning the gold medal.”

“Thank you,” Charlotte replied, smiling back.

As soon as Lydia heard that, she spun around to look at Charlotte. Suddenly, it all made sense.

Charlotte had known about her and Letty, and about the car accident, the whole time. She waited until the competition was over before exposing everything.

She wanted to make sure Lydia went down for leaking the questions and ended her career for good.

Cheating, hiring someone to hurt a competitor... it was all over.

As Lydia was cuffed and led away, Charlotte turned her gaze to Letty, who was trembling in the corner.

Her look said it all. You’re next.

As soon as Charlotte’s eyes met hers, Letty went stiff, ice running through her veins.
