Over at the Sinclair Group.
Upon receiving the news of the two billion dollar injection, Arthur let out a massive sigh of relief.
He looked at Danie Greer beside him. "Has the money officially hit the account?"
"Yes, Mr. Sinclair," Danie replied respectfully.
She answered with utmost respect.
She was equally surprised that someone was willing to hand the Sinclair Group two billion dollars at a time like this.
But regardless, with this two billion, the Sinclair Group could definitely survive this crisis.
Even the investigations surrounding Lawrence could be smoothed over!
Arthur waved his hand dismissively. "Hurry and help resolve Lawrence's issues. Get him out immediately."
"Yes, sir."
Danie left the room.
Only Eleanor and Arthur were left.
Because Lawrence had been taken in for investigation, Eleanor had come to the company to keep watch with Arthur.
As for that useless coward Julian, even as his grandmother, she couldn't care less about him!
Hearing they had two billion in the bank.
Eleanor asked, "Are we still going to make Stella return to the family?"
"Return, of course she has to return!" Arthur stated coldly.
Remembering the utter humiliation she subjected him to today, he was determined to make her crawl back.
Eleanor nodded. "True, considering what she holds in her hands..."
At this, she lowered her voice significantly!
Arthur finished her thought. "We're going to pay off the money Beatrice owes the Channing Group."
"What?"
"That way, Stella will have no excuse to keep pressuring Beatrice, and she can finally go to Thailand!"
Regarding the matter of the Thai sorcerer.
The more Arthur thought about it, the more convinced he became.
Because upon closer inspection, Stella's behavior during her three years with the Sinclairs was completely disconnected from who she was before and who she was now.
Blaming it on 'Spiritual Amnesia' made perfect sense.
Hearing Arthur's reasoning, Eleanor didn't object anymore. "Then let's just pay it off for her!"
It was just a few million dollars, after all.
With two billion now in the company accounts, a few million was mere pocket change.
Once Stella returned to the Sinclair family, had her soul suppressed again, and handed over the blueprints.
This two billion would pale in comparison...
So no matter what, they had to force her back to the Sinclair family!
...
Soon after.
Beatrice, currently at the Steele household, received a call from Arthur's representative at the company.
They offered to pay off her multi-million dollar debt to the Channing Group!
Her face froze. "Re-really?"
