Celestine would not allow what happened today to reach the ears of Alpha Blackwood and his
mate.
Seeing that Celestine did not argue, the crew member reluctantly released his grip on Damon.
After Celestine finished compensating the film crew-her face and throat still marked with scratches and bruises-she turned toward Aysel, who had stood aside the entire time, watching like a calm observer at the edge of a bloodstained clearing.
“So,” Celestine said coolly, “was letting me out of the cage just to watch this scene play out? Are you satisfied now?”
As she wished, the pieces on the board had turned on one another. Even if she stood as the temporary victor, every breath she took was edged with vigilance and fear.
Aysel smiled.
“Not bad,” she said lightly.
Celestine’s destructive power was, indeed, even greater than Aysel had expected.
The so-called praise made Celestine’s chest heave. Rage and unwillingness twisted together inside her.
She had clawed desperately at every resource she could reach, struggling to climb upward-yet she kept sinking.
Since her release, not a single day of her life had been easy.
But now, she was no longer Aysel’s equal. She did not even dare provoke her further.
So Celestine forced her breathing steady, lifted her chin, and turned away with practiced grace- pretending she was still the proud wolf who never lost.
Skylar watched her retreating back with a clicking tongue.
“If the sky collapsed,” she said, “Celestine’s neck would still be stiff enough to hold it up.”
Then Skylar turned to the crew-who were half replaying the drama in hushed excitement and half mourning their wrecked set-and waved a hand.
“Alright, stop sulking. She paid for the damages. I’ll add another one million as extra

investment. Anyone who got hit gets ten thousand each. Dinner’s on me tonight.”
Aysel laughed softly.

“Skylar’s treating. I’ll cover the bill.”
Skylar grinned.
“Then we’re eating expensive.”
“Oh yeah!” the entire crew erupted.
How many more beautiful, kind-hearted, big-spending patrons like this could the world possibly offer?
Even the director-previously sobbing like a wounded wolf-stopped crying. He thought, honestly, that if those three lunatics fought a few more times, he might even be able to endure
Come to think of it-though everyone involved was clearly unstable-their looks were undeniably top-tier. Especially the woman with that vicious, cutting ferocity; she outperformed even the villains in his script. Add the spineless groom, the broken older brother, the raw passion of love and hatred colliding-
If only they were his cast.
Meanwhile, the actual actors of the production had already swarmed around Aysel and Skylar.
The female lead shoved aside the third supporting actress who had been praising their looks, lifted a fruit platter with a sweetened voice.
“President Skylar, Miss Vale, you must be thirsty after talking so long. Have some fruit-would you like me to feed you?”
The second female lead lunged in.
“I have snacks! Why don’t you come sit with me instead?”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I mean exactly what you mean.”
Hair was nearly pulled. Voices rose. The actresses fought for favor with the intensity of rival she-wolves.
Aysel genuinely felt as though she had wandered into a spider den.

Still… she had to admit-it was easy to feel a little lightheaded when so many beautiful wolves fought over your attention.
