Daniel’s POV-

These past few months have been a complete whirlwind of controlled chaos. I have been so very b with finishing school, finishing my training to become VP, preparing for my wedding and honeymoo been hectic, more than anything because of the press that has been following Olivia and I around a chance they get. Our wedding is hottest news lately.

Today Olivia is meeting with Katie to do Katie’s final dress fitting, and I am stuck in Mike’s office wit Gold and Dragon. Not that I would be allowed to the dress fittings, and I have hated it, hated being a from Olivia. Ma threatened to beat me with a stick if I tried to follow them to any of the dressing fitt and she threatened all those that went with them as security.

“The intel that Phoenix got to us, we have confirmed that Vargas was there. That he left and headed one house, but he has since left there as well. What do we know now?” Mike asked.

“Nothing new. CB is still searching for him, but right now, we can’t find him,” Dad replied.

Gold shook his head, “He is going to try and cause trouble at her wedding and I won’t have that.”

“You and me both. I am not having him ruining the day I marry the love of my life, because he has som sick twisted obsession with her,” I said.

“That is part of the

reason why we are inviting the other chapters, we are not only making a huge deal your wedding but we are doing it for your security. The more bikers we have here, the better,” Gold smi patting my shoulder.

“Speaking of that, Portland chapter have just arrived at our gate,” Mike said, upon checking the messag notification he received while Gold was speaking.

I nodded, “The first of many. I can’t believe I am getting married in two days.”

“You and me both. I was hoping you two would have a longer engagement, but I saw first hand how you were when she was taken. You were an unstoppable machine when we were searching for her, and wher we found her, no one could stop you from getting to her. I couldn’t ask for a better man to be her Knight and husband,” Gold said, his eyes locked on me.

“I was raised by a good father and good man. I had a lot of good role models, my life to show me how treat a woman right. She is safe in my hands. I just wish we weren’t hounded as much as we are being about the wedding. Hell some of the kids at school have placed a bet on when she would be showing they assume she is pregnant and that is why we are getting married at eighteen,” I told them.

Mike chuckled, “Let me guess cheerleaders and footballers?”

I nodded, “Cheerleaders are the worst. But the footballers were more interested in how good she was in bed. One of them lost a few teeth when he asked me that. The guys have backed off a bit after I yelled in the corridor that if i had knocked her up, I would be screaming it from the root tops and I sure as hell wouldn’t be letting her walk around here all day.”

Gold shook his head, as he groaned, “I hope you aren’t knocking her up yet i am not ready

yet.”

chuckled, “I won’t be knocking her up yet. She wants to go to college and I won’t be the reason s go. But am I going to be a brother-in-law? I have seen how you and Allison are together, so has Oli is very happy for you.”

Gold rubbed the back of his neck, and sighed, “After the accident I had, I was told that the doctors think I was going to be able to have kids anymore. Allison has a medical condition that makes it ha conceive babies. We have been dating and sleeping together for well over a month now. Longer th guys knew about. Yesterday, she woke up feeling very unwell, she was in bed all day and couldn’t k anything down. Doc drew blood last night and is testing it today, hopefully we will find out what is u her. If she turns out to be pregnant and only far enough along that it is my child, then my company go to Olivia and so will my title here in the club.”

I smiled, “You know if she is, Olivia is going to be so excited, and she will make sure that your child place in the company you will give her. Probably be a case of whatever position he or she wants pro they get the education, like she did.”

“I figured that would be what my daughter would do. How do you know?” Gold asked.

“I know my woman. She loves her family, and you, Gold, you are her only blood kin left. She will take of her family,” I replied.

Gold smiled, “I am glad. But is there anything else you need to do to prepare for the wedding? Anythin can help with as father of the bride?”

“I think we are all set. Ma has been a literal drill sergeant with getting this entire wedding planned, organised, and perfect for mine and Olivia’s big day,” I said, unable to contain my smile.

“I don’t think I have ever seen you smile this much, Carnage. I would say that you are going to soft, if I didn’t know you better,” Mike said, with a chuckle.

I rolled my eyes, and said, “She brings out a different side to me. She makes me happy.”

“We can see that, son. She has brought a lot of happiness to the club since arriving here,” Dad interjecte

There was a knock on Mike’s office door. Mike called out, “Come in.”

The door opened slowly and Benny came into the room. He was going to be an usher at my wedding, or of the groomsmen. “Ah, Benny. How did moving your mother into that new house?” Mike asked.

“She is loving it. She is all unpacked, and already cooking up a storm in the kitchen. She loves baking cupcakes, she is determined to make a few hundred by tonight, so she can come to the clubhouse for dinner and to give everyone a sweet treat for welcoming her to the club like this,” Benny replied.

Benny has been prospecting for us since Olivia’s birthday, and he has been great. He has not missed training, he has attended all the events and never missed a guard duty, even picking up more than is needed to become a member. He doesn’t know this yet, but he is becoming a member tonight. He is getting his cut tonight. Olivia also made sure that he had a cut ready to give to Megan, if he agreed to be his old lady. He could ask her tonight if he chooses.

“Keep her close tonight, Benny. She is your mother, but she is an unclaimed woman and many of those out there will try to talk with her. She decides though, you can’t decide for her, Mike said.

“I know. She already told me that if Lget in the way of her being hit on, she will ground me. I am eighteen

Dad chuckled, “She deserves a chance at finding love just as much as anyone else just remember that.”

Benny nodded, but could tell her was hesitant to let her get with another man, after how his father treated his mother.

“Has Megan agreed to move in with you?” I asked.

Benny nodded, “She has agreed to, but needs to finish packing. She said she will be ready to move in after your wedding. She says she needs to spend more time helping Queenie right now, get ready for your wedding. Apparently, there is a whole surprise spa trip for all the ladiès in the club. Your mother and Megan have been planning it.”

“I didn’t know about that,” I said.
