The Prime Minister's Darling novel Chapter 1989

Chapter 1989: Chapter 992: Rise of the War God (Jingkong Arc) (Part 3)

A row of archers blocked Zhou Chongyue’s path, forming an encirclement against Guo Mang’s group with the remaining archers.

Zhou Chongyue said coldly, "Kill them for me! Leave none alive!"

The archers fired their arrows in unison, and the military officers of Cang Continent fell one by one. Soon, the snowfield was stained with blood.

Looking at the officers lying in the pool of blood, Guo Mang gripped his long sword with reddened eyes, "Zhou Chongyue, I’m going to kill you!"

Zhou Chongyue sneered, "Huh, just you?"

He grabbed Guo Mang by the neck and lifted him high into the air.

Although Guo Mang’s martial arts were not weak, he hadn’t eaten for three days—how could he be a match for Zhou Chongyue?

Just as Zhou Chongyue was about to twist his neck, a sharp hawk’s cry suddenly pierced the vast sky.

With a frightening murderous aura, even the flying snow seemed to pause for a second.

Zhou Chongyue furrowed his brow.

The next second, a mighty hawk spread its wings laden with snow and swooped down sharply.

"Ah—"

A shrill scream erupted from the crowd, as if someone’s eyeball had been pecked out by the hawk!

Zhou Chongyue turned to look at the archer clutching his right eye, rolling on the ground, and frowned tightly. He threw Guo Mang aside, rushed forward to grab a bow and arrow from another archer, drew the bowstring, and aimed at the hawk!

However, before the arrow could be fully released, a menacing Red-Tasseled Spear flew through the air, piercing through Zhou Chongyue’s shoulder!

Unprepared, Zhou Chongyue was knocked to the ground by the tremendous force, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Amidst the flying snow, a young warrior clad in silver armor rode forward on a warhorse also wearing silver armor, his youthful age betraying a pair of hard, cold eyes.

A thousand troops couldn’t stop him as he gripped the reins, moving as though he were in an uninhabited territory, the red cloak on his silver armor billowing fiercely behind him.

Arrows rained down upon him, yet there was no hint of fear in his eyes.

Zhou Chongyue looked at this young wolf exuding endless valor and furrowed his brows involuntarily.

He thought that the one who attacked him was a great master, only to find it was a child?

How old could he be?
