The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1891

Chapter 1891: Cleansing Reality (11)

Primordial Memory did not fall back from the attacks of the serpents. If he were anywhere else, using the body of a Throne, he might have despaired, but these serpents had crossed into his Memory Space, practically swimming inside his essence, and there was no way he was letting them leave here alive.

The Primordial charged, his body seemed inconsequential against the vastness of the six serpents who had now begun to call upon the might of their aspects as they barreled for the Primordial.

The distance between them that streched for millions of miles were crossed in the blink of an eye and in the barest moments before these two titans clashed, Primordial Memory roared, his ninth level Will and essence pouring out from his body like a flood without caring if his body was damaged, after all, this body was just a conduit to his Great Labyrinth, which was his actual body.

"LEGION OF FALLEN SUNS!"

A golden glow burst out from Primordial Memory that covered the entirety of the Great Labyrinth and stretched for billions of light-years outside of it. This glow was the purest essence of Memory as he pulled upon it with no restrictions. A mighty boom emerged from the gloom as if Reality had been cracked open, followed by the roar of pain from the serpents.

"WHOOSH.... CRACK.... BOOM!"

A mighty shockwave that tore the glow apart and stripped a portion of the surface layer of the Great Labyrinth away, revealing that the six serpents had been thrown to the ground, their massive bodies tearing great rifts in the Great Labyrinth.

Within this massive dimension, there were still many Labyrinth Specters and the numerous lifeforms that made the Great Labyrinth their home, and this battle was collapsing their dimension. They could not follow the events unfolding, but they were deeply affected by the fight, in the sense that there was now a window of opportunity for their freedom.

Unlike other Primordial Domains that loudly announced their presence to all of Reality, Primordial Memory did not just actively hide himself; it trapped most of the lifefoems inside of the Great Labyrinth, where they would wander around until the end of their days, all of the memories they made constantly being drained by the labyrinth to feed the Primordial.

However, the serpents did not care that they had potentially freed trillions just by falling to the ground; their attention was fixed on what had brought them down, and as the golden wave dissipated, it was revealed... standing in front of Primordial Memory like an unshakable wall, long golden air flowing beside him like a cloud, and wearing a white battle robe made of mortal’s material, was their father!

This memory was the first important memory that the Primordial had seen of Rowan, and he had stolen it, placing it in the core of his Labyrinth. He would have never summoned it if the situation were not dire, because he had wished to keep it with him forever.

The instant before they clashed with Primordial Memory, he appeared in the ocean of golden light conjured by the Primordial, and he had unleashed his powers against the serpents who held back from fear and surprise, leading to the situation where they had lost ground in the first clash.

Rowan’s eyes flashed with anger, "Insolent children... How dare you raise your hand against your father?"

The six Origin Ouroboros Serpents, despite knowing that this was most likely a memory conjured by Primordial Memory and twisted to serve his purpose, they did not raise theor voices even to protest, instaead they transformed into their humanoid bodies and proceeded to go down on one knee with their head bowed, even before the Memory of Rowan, they could not raise any agression towards it.

Primordial Memory licked his lips as he watched the kneeling serpents. Then he glanced towards Rowan in irritation, and what was to be a warning look transformed into one of surprise and anger, and he walked up to Rowan and poked his chest repeatedly, "I told you to hurt and kill them, why are you still standing in place?!"

The Memory of Rowan dropped his hand holding the blade, and in a move that was almost too fast to see, the blade curved to the side and sliced through the arm of Primordial Memory at his bicep. As the arm fell, the blade rose to catch it on its flat side, and the Memory of Rowan tossed the arm towards Divus, who caught it without even looking and brought it to her mouth to eat.

Primordial Memory looked at his empty sleeves, then the Memory of Rowan, and then at Divus, who was eating his arm with apparent gusto. Realization dawned in his eyes just as his chest exploded as if a bomb had been placed inside his heart. This was a backlash from his essence that had rebelled against him.

With a scream of shock and fear, Primordial Memory did what he was most familiar with: he fled deeper into his dimension, his cries of rage and fear echoing behind him.

The Memory of Rowan dismissed the blade and brought both of his hands to his face and muttered, "Fascinating, is this how he sees me?"

He glanced at the serpents, "Your meal is getting away." They stood up in excitement, bowing towards him before transformed into golden streams of light and pursued the Primordial. Divus paused and looked back, only to see Rowan smile at her before he shattered this memory of himself. She heard his final words, "What a pale imitation."
