Capítulo 1931: Remember My Name (1)
“Yes, Rowan, your origins, or do you believe I would keep this truth from you when it serves my enemies better to keep you from it?” Enoch smirked when he saw the shock in the eyes of Rowan. Even though they both knew that Rowan was a consummate actor, there were some things that could not be faked.
Rowan rested his head on his throne for a moment before he burst into laughter, “This is so familiar,” he said, “I once had a conversation similar to this with Death, and even then, the beast did not believe me until it was too late.”
Raising his head up to see the question in Enoch’s eyes, Rowan sighed, “You must have seen that memory of me with the Beast of Final Rest, who, like you, was gaining great benefits from the slaughter that the Primordials were having all over Reality. The beast thought that all the benefits it was gaining would carry a price that it could bear… now there is war on its doorsteps.”
“You compare me with a damned beast?” Enoch growled, “That opportunist took my light for itself, and now it suffers the consequences.”
“You miss the entire point, Enoch,” Rowan nearly rolled his eyes, “Or are you refusing to acknowledge it? The Primordials you created have minds of their own, and they were not fools; they could see the inevitable end of their path. Answer me this: what would happen to the Primordials after they are done with your work?”
Enoch cocked his head to the side as if in surprise at the obvious question from Rowan, “I gave them my light and allowed them to see the true face of eternity, of all lifeforms to ever exist, they have received the most grace from me… Their lives and entire existence are pledged to me to do what I see fit, and they should have returned everything back to me as it was always intended from the start.”
“But there is something you are missing here, Enoch. You created the Primordials out of your Light, and that means that they are a part of you; they carry your purpose, but they also carry your hunger. Why would you ever think any part of you would be satisfied with giving up the things you want? You blame everything else, but you refuse to look in the mirror and see that the Primordials are your Reflection staring back at you… by your actions, you have created your greatest enemy.”
Enoch hissed like a snake, almost causing Rowan to flinch at the hatred and anger he sensed inside him, “No one deserves to be my enemy, not those thretherous pieces and certainly not you. I have grown bored with this tale and the conversation that follows it, and now we should discuss the terms of your agreement.”
“My agreement?” Rowan blinked, “Is this not supposed to be a two-way street, and we both get what we want?”
“Oh, was that the impression I gave you?” Enoch chuckled, “Well you are wrong, and the hand I hold is stronger than yours so your agreement is going to be lesser… hmm, it seems like you think you have more of a bargaining chip, or is it because you think your main body is safe from me and there is nothing I can do to you that would truly affect him? Hahaha, there is a reason I am showing you the present state of Reality, watch and see what is to come, and then tell me how many cards you have left to play.”

However, Rowan did not know whether to laugh or cry when he noticed that many of the New Primordials chose concepts that, above all, sought to aid him and not themselves.
The Primordial of Defiant Ascension was a warrior above all else, who thrived in situations where the stakes were high and the opposition he faced was greater than his current strength. The law of Defiant Ascension meant that this warrior would always rise, no matter the stumbling block placed in front of him, and for this reason, Telmus was an enemy that should not be kept alive for long, else there would be hell to pay in the future when he inevitably rose.
The Primordial of Revelation that Eva had become may not be the greatest on the battlefield, but it was the closest to the laws of Truth, Fate, and Destiny. Eva became the Primordial of Revelation because she knew there was something that Rowan lacked above all else, and that was a tool that he could use to see through deception and reveal secrets that had been hidden from the past.
Rowan knew that Eva and his main body were working closely, but this was one of the secrets of his main body that he was no longer privy to, and even till this moment, he did not know the full ramifications of Eva’s powers.
Circe, on the other hand, had not only shocked him for being the third of the New Primordials, but her concept of Endless Kindling was also extremely special. Like Eva, she was not made for battle, but her laws could also be called the laws of preservation.
Perhaps it was because she was the one to hold the last true bloodline of Trion and deliver it across time before they found their home in the body of Telmus, but her laws meant she could hold the kindlings of all of Rowan’s dominion, and even if he fell, his works would not die with him, and she would be there to return everything back the way it was intended to be… she would be the last spark, the kindling that would stand even when time had ended rto take his will to the end of eternity and beyond.
