The Destroyer sang a song of annihilation as it was finally being used by its master. Even with all the power being poured inside of it, the Destroyer was not able to output as much damage as the venom of the Beast of Inevitability, yet it was far more effective because of its wielder.
One swing from Eos ended hundreds of Abominations as the blade in his hand seemed to hold endless transformation; one moment it looked like a whip, the next a lightning bolt, a disk, a hammer, and so on. It was not as if the blade was changing, but the techniques of Eos had reached a realm where his desires became manifestations.
His blade led him, and his body followed, step by step, into madness.
He was not just killing Abominations; as they died, they transformed into golden ash that floated past the shredded domain created by the Abomination to become roots of new Realities.
But the Abomination was vast, for every part that Eos ended, two grew in its place. The evolution of the Abomination seemed to have given it the ability to endlessly manifest new flesh, meaning that it would not matter how much of itself was destroyed, more would be created in its place.
To deal with the swarm of Abomination, Eos had unleashed a heavy blow to push back the main body of the Abomination, but it had shattered that tide of annihilation and began to press closer to Eos while all of its faces were turned towards the ascending Rowan, and rage was beginning to paint all of its many eyes red.
With a loud command from the Abomination the domain it created began to shrink so dramatically, that it pushed Eos and the purple cube towards it, and to protect the cube, Eos diverted more attention to the man body of the Abomination, which led to a single minor Abomination from the swarm passing through the storm of blades created by his Destroyer and latching onto his shoulder.
Passing through the swings of his blade had sliced the Abomination in two, and a wave of annihilation was rapidly turning it to golden dust, but it had bitten down on his shoulder with a vengeance and poured corruption into his body.
Eos bled for the first time, but this was the least of his worries. The flesh of his shoulder turned white and began to sprout arms, hundreds of faces were beginning to rise from his shoulders, but their eyes were closed, yet they struggled to open them, with the new powers of the Abomination, if they opened their eyes, then every part of his body that they could see, would be a host for their corruption.
Eos reversed his blade and dug it into his shoulder, cutting into his flesh without flinching and flicking the severed piece away, which dissolved into light.
He kept walking despite the increasing danger. Eos could see that after the Abomination had evolved from the venom of the Beast of Inevitability, another round of evolution had begun after it faced him, and Eos could see that a sort of intense change was happening at the center of the Abomination, including every single spawn it was sending against him.
A bright reddish ripple suddenly erupted from all the Abomination, and the time inside this domain stretched. The Abomination knew Eos so well that it understood time stop would not hold a being of his power, and that it would, in fact, lead to a backlash; instead, it stretched time.
All of this was just to delay Rowan from reaching the Primordial level, and it was working. Eos could push through this slowed time by simply accelerating his body and the streams of time around him, but his Incarnation did not have the vastness of his energy stores and was focused on ascension, leaving few resources left to fight against this power.
Eos growled as he began pushing toward the heart of the Abomination, where he could see a child-shaped thing emerging from it. The new evolution of the Abomination was still ongoing, and he needed to stop it.
