A look of shock and fury flashed past Nyxaraโs eyes, but before she could speak, Xylos charged at Eos, drawing out a demonic blade from his side, which was one of his ribs. His voice rippled across space-time.
"I had always wanted to kill you, but we kept you alive for a single purpose; now your life is meaningless, and whatever power you think you hold is nothing."
Eos kept his hands folded behind his back, and his Omniversal wings beat a few times as if testing the surrounding space, but he made no motion to block the attack; instead, a sneer was on his lips.
The rage in Xylosโs eyes built up, and his blade, holding the confluence of every doubt in Existence, pierced towards Eosโs chest. The tip was an inch from touching his chest when a steaming scythe alongside massive claws struck Xylos from the side and behind.
Not expecting the attack, Xylos screamed in pain and rage as the scythe cut his arm to the bone while the claws shredded one of his wings. He was blasted away from Eos and into another dimension, and a moment later, he returned filled with venom.
The scene he returned to see shocked and angered him to the core. The General of Death and the Abomination had been the ones to strike him, and now they were standing against the Primordials and preventing them from attacking Eos.
Xylos roared, and his demonic nature almost made him go insane. His body began to mutate into a gigantic Demon, and his voice became impossibly deep, "Death, how dare you go against our Agreement? I shall strip your flesh from the bone and make you endure eternal torment for your foolish actions."
"Hold your hand, foolish Demon," the Abomination growled. The emanations of power from its body were greater than before; it had clearly evolved one more time during the period it was banished, and it was increasingly growing harder to know how strong it had become.
The General of Death addressed the Primordial, "I did not break our Agreement; I was saving it. If Xylos had attacked him, it would have led to the expansion of Limbo, and the power of End would become stretched too thin. At that time, it is unknown if the foundation of all our powers would have been stable. Your actions could have doomed us all!"
The change in the body of Primordial Demon began to reverse itself, yet the fury in his eyes did not reduce, but was growing.
"Explain yourself slowly. How does the fucking expansion of Limbo affect our powers?"
This time it was the Abomination that replied, "You are all cursed children, Xylos, Xyris, Elgorath, Vorthas, Eldrithor, Asteroath, even you, Nyxara... Your body may have been built from my flesh, but I sewed you together using the power of End."
Spreading his hands wide, the Abomination growled, "Even the higher dimensions did not exist like this before I remade them using the power of End. I wanted change and to create chaos; I needed to ensure there were countless variations inside Existence. Now think for yourself, you fool... if Limbo is stretched, the power of End would thin, and the very foundations of the higher dimension would be shattered. Without the power of End holding all of this in place... You would collapse under the weight of your own power!"
Nyxaraโs eyes widened when she heard this explanation, and she turned to Eos, "Knowing this fellow, he would have shattered these Origin Realms, even if it ends up killing him as well, if the result also means our death. Why are we not fighting under the weight of a crushed Existence?"
