Eos did not know what happened with the Luminious in the past, but there was a source where he could gain all of that information, and at the moment, the bait he had pushed out into Existence, the Beast of Final Rest, had not drawn the attention of that big fish, and he could only wait and apply pressure in a different way.
One reason the Beast had not settled down was that it was being chased by Nyxara, and so, following the character of the Temple of End, they would be determined not to interfere unless it was necessary.
Shifting his attention to the side, Rowan caught the strings of memories beside his throne that were waiting for his attention. Even though he had been away for just twenty-one thousand years, there were already a lot of messages waiting for him.
Most of them were concerned with the state of the war, which was rapidly heating up, and this was mostly happening because of the threat from Nyxara, and Eos had finally had enough.
Tracing her string of memory, he tugged upon it and spoke to her, "Your plan is a go... we are killing Elgorath."
He was not surprised that it did not take her long to reply, "Just him, the agreement was to kill them all at once."
Eos smiled, "Except you would agree to play a greater role in the fight, then we can kill more, but did you not forget that for the last hundred million years, all of you have been rapidly growing in strength? The Primordials we made those agreements for in the past are no longer the Primordials of today."
Nyxaraβs anger could be felt through the memory strings, "And would you say you are not the same? You may fool the others, Eos, with your pitiful attempt to remain under the radar while sitting on your precious stone, but I know you, Eos. I built you from my image, and I know you are not the same as you were."
Eos shrugged, "I do not care what you think I have accumulated. We all hold weapons behind us, but you were the one who convinced me to work together with you on your acts of betrayal. I will not be sacrificing my power to suit your needs. We all get what we want from this deal, and if you want more, you have to place more on the table."
"I want more deaths than just one Eos, and I am willing to assist you once against anyone you point me towards."
Eos smiled, "That is not enough. Your help is not needed for any of my plans, when my greatest need is how to stand against you as you grow stronger."
There was silence for a while, and yet Eos did not speak, as he knew that Nyxara was wise enough to understand what he meant, and before long she replied through gritted teeth, "You have implanted Mercy into my heart, and now you ask for more?"
