Chapter 2114: A Piece of Truth (3)

Eos grunted with frustration inside his mind as he staggered. The pain from the injuries was a white-hot roar in his mind, and he found it interesting that this pain was not what he should feel but what the Eos from other Parallel Realities would feel, and Elgorath was forcing him to feel this pain, and mostly this was because Eos was permitting it to happen.

Still, he was also aware that Elgorath was not using the full weight of the powers of the sixth dimension, just because he did not want Eos to figure out the truth, but Eos could also play this game because he was learning certain tips and tricks about wielding the sixth dimension from watching the actions of Elgorath.

While the Ancient Primordial was carving into his back, Eos spun and drove the Destroyer into Elgorath’s thigh. The blade sank deep, as his Origin light flooded the wound, Elgorath’s leg buckled before the entire limb turned to golden dust.

He fell to one knee, roaring, experiencing the pain that caused Xyris to almost go mad, and he surged forward to grab Eos by the throat. Eos pulled back, but Elgorath’s hand passed through the proto-dimension and caught his neck.

Elgorath grinned when he saw the surprise in Eos’s eyes, and he dug his claws into Eos’s throat, piercing the windpipe and crushing cartilage. Blood bubbled from Eos’s mouth as he seemed to be gasping for air that wouldn’t come, not that anyone here needed to breathe or that there was air inside the Hollow.

Xyris, chest still leaking purple sand, saw the state of Eos that was being ravaged by Elgorath, and a part of himmust have believed that Eos’s powers were more devastating from a distance and not upclose.

From everything going on, this appeared to be the case because Xyris had watched Eos repeatedly suffering grievious injuries from the hands of Elgorath, who was not the best close combat fighter, and pushing aside the pain of his body fighting against itself, Xyris conjured all the power of time he had access to and flung it towards Eos, causing him to freeze in place for a moment.

A moment was all he needed as he surged forward and plunged his hand into Eos’s open back wound, and with quick fingers, he located Eos’s ribs and wrapped his hands around them.

Eos’s ribs were like pillars of eternity, incredibly hard, but Xyris conjured power from all across time, and purple light exploded out of his arms that painted half of the Hollow in a shade of purple.

Yelling with everything he had, Xyris pulled, and the ribs he was holding cracked before tearing free in a spray of bone fragments and golden mist.

Eos grunted as pain exploded through him, with his vision blackening at the edges. He was more surprised than pained that Primordial Time was able to injure him to this extent, and it did not help that Xyris was laughing, with his voice having a weird reverse cackling sound that Eos found to be very irritating.

With the stolen rib, Xyris howled as he drove them both into Eos’s face, attempting to pierce his eyes and impale his entire head with them, but Eos moved back, and the ribs were slammed into his shoulders like stakes. The ribs had pierced through his muscles, and they grated against his joint. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

This battle seemed very barbaric on the surface, but the true damage was not coming from the flesh that was being torn or the bones being crushed... the real damage was the poisonous Origin Force being poured inside the bodies of their opponents.

The Primordial level was the final level inside Existence, and what made the Ancient Primordial dangerous was the sheer number and power of their Origin Essence.

Chapter 2114: A Piece of Truth (3) 1

At this time, inside Existence, Eos was the only being at the Primordial level that was capable of withstanding the venom of the Ancient Primordial. Death, who had been equally as capable, was dead... but that did not mean he was not being damaged or was not experiencing great pain that may lead to his destruction if he was not careful.
