Chapter 2124: The War At The Dawn of Ending (7)

All of the Ancient Primordials had arrived inside the Hollow, and Eos knew that he would not be able to deceive Elgorath for long. Primordial Memory had been here long enough to fully confirm the dissipation of Death’s Origin Essence, and although he was still sensing that the restrictions inside of Death still remained, he would soon understand that the only reason these restrictions remained was that someone who was capable of manipulating the proto-dimension on a profound level had taken them out.

Eos did not know if Elgorath would suspect Nyxara of doing such a thing, but he could only guess at their relationship. Still, it did not matter, not if he killed Elgorath and took him apart to understand who this Primordial really was.

There was a strange game that was being played here, and either all the Ancient Primordials were in on it or not, or some of them were no longer who they were before.

Eos did not think this was strange. Even among the greatest of his children, there were impostors, and understanding the nature of Existence, he knew that the Painter saw all life inside Existence as tools, and he should not be surprised if the Ancient Primordials were tools as well.

Eos was about to make his move when he sensed it... like the cold hand of a corpse touching your back at night... Enoch was here.

His presence meant the circle was complete; the stage may shift, but the main players were here, as the Primogenitor of this madness had returned.

That meant many things to Eos, but what it truly meant for him was that he could stop holding back.

If Enoch had returned then most of his hidden plans would be easily discerned by him, and he could not outmaneuver the destroyer of Existence as he could do to the Ancient Primordials, chiefly because, he was sure that Enoch, End and the Painter had a much closer relationship than any of the Ancient Primordials, except Nyxara and Elgorath... these two were the most suspicious.

Eos was not the only one to sense the return of Enoch; all the Ancient Primordials were also aware of his presence being etched into the fabrics of Existence, and Nyxara no longer hid herself. Her body was pushed into reality, and she looked up with anger and regret in her eyes.

She had been so close to getting all she wanted before his return, and now, due to the stubbornness and trickery of Eos, she was too late.

"Ah, there you are, sister," Xyris called out, slowly picking up his broken body from the ground, "You have felt it as well; he has returned, so do you know what it means?"

Nyxara looked at the broken body of Xyris. The thoughts in her mind were unknown, and she looked at Eos, and she smiled, "We drop all our hidden grievances, and we take down this abomination. He holds the power we all need, and we can keep it away from Enoch’s hand."

Elograth looked over at Nyxara with puzzlement in his eyes, "Tell me, sister, who was the one who killed the Beast?"

Nyxara sighed, "Did the two of you not see him standing over its cooling corpse? Why do you ask such nonsensical questions, Elgorath? At this time, your games are not needed."
