The massive crack in Existence had appeared silently, and if not for the move from Telmus, it would have been too late to discover it. The Archai looked at the wound in Existence and nodded towards Telmus, "I have other matters to handle... be safe, Defiant Ascension."
Telmus barely acknowledged the entity that had vanished as he began sending rapid-fire instructions to the Primordials all around the Origin Realms to prepare for the relentless assault that was about to fall on their heads.
"RRRIIIPPP.... CRACK... BOOM!!!!"
The invasion began with a cataclysmic roar that echoed through every layer of Existence, as the boundaries of Limbo surrounding the Origin Realms tore open like festering wounds, spilling forth a darkness so profound it blotted out the celestial lights of a thousand Origin Realms in an instant.
There were fifty Primordials here, although most of them were still base-level Primordials; there were some among them that had reached the first and second layer.
When the wave of darkness swept across the Origin Realms, fifty lights rose up against it, and massive shields of light and air shone from their bodies, impacting against this wave of darkness, and it was their effort that prevented this darkness from covering all of the Origin Realms, not all of them.
"LUB DUBdub... LUBDUBdub..."
The heartbeat from an army that could be called infinite resounded through eternity, and the fifty Primordials glowing in the darkness only had the light of their fellows to remind them they were not alone in the dark.
Apocalyptic sounds shook the surrounding space as the heavens themselves seemed to crack, as if the very fabric of Existence was screaming in protest.
Then, for a moment, there was a blissful silence, and then, countless beings, trillions upon trillions, infinite in their corrupted multiplicity, descended like a living storm of oblivion. Their numbers were so vast that they cascaded downward in a tidal wave of shadows, chitin, gears, golden threads, and verdant rot that filled the infinite expanse from horizon to horizon, from the highest ethereal planes to the deepest abyssal voids.
Each of the fifty Primordials could barely tear through the tens of millions of targets in front of them before the army of ruin covered them and swept past them. The target of this host was the ten thousand Origin Realm, and for the first time since the battle began, the endless armies of the Ancient Primordial were now showing how quantity could become quality.
The resistance against them could as well be nonexistent as they swept past the Primordials, descending towards the first Origin Realm in their path.
Telmus, who was above it all, saw the scale of this impossible army, and his breath caught in his throat for a moment, and he smiled. It was rare for him to feel fear, but at this moment, he did.

Because the ten thousand Origin Realms revolved around the central Origin Realm, the Prime Axis, there was no first Origin Realm that was at the forefront, and depending on the time of attack, any of the Origin Realms would be the first to receive the brunt of the attack.
