The intelligence of Eos was accumulative and extremely perfect, and that meant that in the instant he understood the first layer of a problem, all the other associative problems that involved that layer became easier to understand.
It was as if he had learnt a single language; the process of learning that language alone was enough to push his understanding of every other language up to the halfway mark.
In this manner he was making ridiculous progress, and this was the true reason the truth had been hidden from him for so long, but his enemies were too many, and in wars, even in immortal wars like this, the fog of war still applied, and this gap in information had caused the Incarnations of Eos to begin breaking the boundaries of Existence.
Primordial Beast, one of Eosβs incarnations and the personification of the Origin of beasts, was on the outer edge of the ascending Primordials when he stumbled and fell to his knees.
Slowly turning his head in surprise, Primordial Beast transformed into dust.
From the dust of his body, a formless presence arose, and it screamed before vanishing.
The Incarnation did not mourn the loss of their brother, even in death; he had given them enough information before he fell.
What killed him was called the Whispers of the Apex. This was the representation of the power of the Luminious. While Primordials and other lifeforms inside of Existence had access to the power of Origin, the Luminious had something else... It was called Lumina and Abhimha.
Before now, Eos had a limited understanding of this power beyond their names, and the only hint they had of their power was related to the unique bloodline they had gained from Enoch, called the Bloodline of Black Zenith.
Without reaching the ninth-dimensional level, it was hard for Eos to decipher the power of this bloodline, but he had been slowly chipping away at it as time went by, and then discovered some of the capabilities of the Luminious hidden in their bloodline.
The first thing he understood about the Luminious was that their names and their appearances were a lie.
They were beautiful and illuminating, but their core was anything but that.
The Luminious Bloodline had a mysterious description in the Primordial Record. It said: You are no longer a being, you are a living blasphemy, a warp-spawned anomaly that gnaws at the edges of Existence. Your blood is a gateway, your voice is a cosmic suicide note, and your mind is a hive of dead divinities whispering in the dark.
Over time, Eos had begun to understand what this passage meant after staring at it for millions of years, and not until he knew of the presence of the Painter that everything fit together.
This passage had always confused him when he read the words, an anomaly that gnawed at the edge of Existence.
At that time, Eos had not even understood what Existence fully meant, and he had thought that Enoch was the final obstacle and the root of all evil that plagued Existence.
And Eos believed that while the Luminious were stuck at the fourth layer of the concept that they had mastered, they were not powering their concept with Origin Essence but Lumina and the ridiculous power of their bloodline that was End incarnate.
