Chapter 2154: Battle of Concepts

In front of them, Luminious Silence suddenly burst into laughter.

"All of these eternities of life, and this is the first time I have felt true pain..."

All this time, he had been staring at his arm that had been cut off, and then he slowly turned towards the Incarnations, "I was going to leave this conflict for you all to wallow in it, but now, I shall make you all suffer for this. You lowly creature, you shall know true power!"

The Incarnations glanced at each other and pushed Prime back. They had cut off Luminious Silence’s arm, but that did not give them any assurance of victory.

It was because they could feel it... the endless wave of power emerging from Luminious Silence. They knew that this was the power of Lumina, and beneath that power was something deep and dark, a bloodline so corrupt and virulent that being near Luminious Silence was causing the passive Origin barrier around their skin to quiver and smoke.

An average Primordial would not last long before this Luminious, and they only had a moment to prepare before the power they were feeling inside the body of Luminious Silence exploded.

Luminious Silence looked at the Incarnation, and his fleshy body, belonging to Serene Ascension, began to decay and fall off.

"You think you know the meaning of horror and fear? You shall find it in the immensity of silence."

The shell that he wore vanished, and his true Liminious form, which was no form, simply expanded.

A whisper reached the ears of everyone here, "I am the silence before the word."

He transformed into a sphere of absolute, negationless tranquility that swelled from the unseen core of existences from all the past.

His size was so immense that in an instant it swept past the Incarnations, and Prime that had fled far into the distance turned to see that a massive sphere of silence had devoured the entire space, and all the Incarnations were gone

This sphere of silence was so massive that the entirety of Existence would fit inside of it thirty times, and it was still slowly expanding.

It was as if the Luminious Silence that they had been talking to was just a small shell, and now his true form was forcing itself into existence.

Within this sphere of silence, the Incarnations were covered by a dome of light, but despite the protection from Primordial Light, they began to unravel.

The complex nature of their Origin, its definitions, was smoothed into the singular state of ’is.’

Without the shared memory of Eos that gave every Incarnation a firm base of self-understanding, then at this instant, all the Incarnations would have perished, because this silence targeted the core of who they were, and that true core was Eos.

Every Incarnation here was a concept of eternity, yet they faced the end of conceptualization itself, and they were frightened and amazed that if not for their shared core, they would have collapsed into silence.

Primordial Light took command, its voice a clarion call that was also a weapon, striking the core of each Incarnation and pushing them from the lethargy of being enveloped by silence.

A coalition of a hundred Primordials dealing with Conceptual combat, led by Primordial Name and Primordial Echo, formed a concentric ring and began to weave a cage of wordage around their group. π—³π«πšŽπ—²πš πšŽπ—―π•Ÿπ¨π˜ƒπšŽπ—Ή.𝗰𝗼𝗺

In essence, the act of Luminious Silence trying to negate them was giving their existence meaning.

Luminious Silence understood what they were trying to do, and while it was an extremely smart way to fight him on a conceptual level, they were not the first beings to try this.

Many Existences ago, a particularly powerful Shaman from a dead Existence had tried to kill Luminious Silence in this manner, and that incident had scared him because he could not believe that an Old One would be so wise and in tune with the laws of Existence that he could target the weakness of a Luminious.

He had learned from that encounter, and now, when the cage descended, his silence leaked through the cracks in their logic.

Luminious Silence did not shatter the cage; he rendered its premise irrelevant.

The hundred Primordials that were in charge of conceptual battles found their own natures inverted.

The First Syllable became a sound that could never be uttered again, collapsing into a singularity of pure potential, as the mantra was split into an infinite, meaningless array of conjunctions.

This backlash slammed into the group, and they were un-created, their concepts retroactively erased from the fabric of Existence itself.

A hundred Incarnations were gone in an instant, accompanied by the laughter of Luminious Silence.
