It was almost impossible to understand the Will and the power behind the Incarnations, because Enoch’s weight of Existence was so ridiculous that it was almost impossible to calculate, and to an outside observer, it would appear as if a group of ants were pushing against a mountain, and that mountain... moved.
"Haha haha... I thought my return would hold little surprise, but I was wrong... good."
Enoch, who had seemed amused by the attacks of the Incarnations, even though their attacks were slightly injuring him, began to move.
His hand released the breach and swept across the void of Existence, and the motion was so vast and absolute, that it seemed to encompass all directions at once.
Nothing his size should move this quickly, and even though immortals could break the laws of Existence, there was always a limit, but Enoch seemed to have limitless strength and Will, and his motions were faster than what some of the Incarnations could even see.
Six hundred Incarnations vanished in an instant as they were unmade under the power of Enoch’s hand, their existence wiped from the timeline as if they had never been. Killing an Incarnation of Eos was hard, but Enoch had made it seem incredibly easy.
All Incarnation here felt the loss as a hole in their own being, as the sudden absence where six hundred fragments of Eos’s greater self had caused a brief disruption of their pooled consciousness.
"Fragments," Enoch said, his featureless face turning toward the remaining Incarnations. "That is all you are. Pieces of a being who was too afraid to become whole. Did he tell you that you could defeat me? Did he promise you victory?"
Primordial Lightning gathered his essence once more and formed his spear of lightning, and this time, he drew upon the power of the Archai that were linked to him through Eva and Telmus.
The Incarnations inside the Eternal Tower had to fight without the connection with the Archai, because they were cut out from Eos due to the power of the tower, but there was no reason why the Incarnations here should not draw from the unlimited oceans of power inside Eos, and the Archai were the key to access that power.
Normally, every Incarnation should have direct access to Eos’s Origin Land where they could draw as much power as they wanted, but due to the fact that they were going into intense danger and the possibility of death was ridiculously high, Eos could not risk the backlash of their death traveling through the shared connection and impacting the Origin Land.
And so the Archai were used as the connecting point between Eos and the Incarnations, so if they were killed, the power of their attackers would not bleed through to Eos.
Three hundred threads of Eos’s essence fed into his spear, and it blazed with a radiance that outshone the ten thousand Origin Realms combined.
"He promised us nothing," Primordial Lightning said. "He gave us everything we needed to fight."
He struck again, and this time, the blow was not aimed at Enoch’s hand, but at the breach where Enoch’s body was slowly emerging from.
The lightning spear, empowered by the collective will of every Incarnation that still stood, carved into the edges of the tear between the Blackened Scar and the Origin Realms, and the entirety of Existence screamed.
