Chapter 2209: The Dimension of Purpose

Eos did not let this thought linger in his mind as the last piece clicked into place.

There were some truths that should not be spoken, else the act of speaking makes it real.

No matter how talented he was, he was now in new territory. He could beat his chest and claim to be the greatest authority in the ninth-dimensional level, but when it came to the tenth, he still had much to learn.

Eos had been a ninth-dimensional being since the Primordial fusion. This was the limit of what Existence, in its old and broken form, had been permitted to produce.

The tenth dimension had been there, but incomplete. Existence was, he had discovered during the fusion, a tenth-dimensional space in its substrate. It had no law, no rule, no binding principle.

Something had been taken from it, long before any Primordial had been born, and the absence had made the dimension unreachable. It was the reason that for so long, the highest level had been the Primordial level of the ninth dimension.

However, he had discovered the tenth dimension after he left the painting that was the previous Existence, and from that moment onward, everything had set the stage for him to reach this level.

He had thought, during the fusion, that he would have to rebuild the tenth dimension from nothing; however, he had been wrong.

The tenth dimension had not been missing. It had been waiting.

There was a reason why the Great One or the Luminious had not made any move to stop him from reaching the tenth dimension, and that was because it was a useless effort.

Before he touched the tenth dimension, there was a possibility to stop him from reaching it, but the moment he touched the tenth dimension, Eos would become complete, meaning that time itself would acknowledge that he had always been a tenth-dimensional creature from birth.

He would have no known weakness related to time, and so trying to stop him at this point would be useless; it would be better to observe and understand the type of power he had claimed.

It could be said that the tenth-dimensional level was destined, and because the moment they reached the tenth-dimensional level, all of history changed to reflect that they had always been at the tenth-dimensional level.

To Eos, it was as if all of his life had been a dream, and now he was waking up. All of his struggles, pain, growth and sacrifices had been the dream of a sleeping god, and now that he was awake, all of that had no more meaning anymore. It was as if everything that existed was his dream, and now that he was awake, they were no more.

So it could be said that the tenth dimension had been waiting for Telos. For its arrival from the first moment the first mortal being prophesied of it.

It had been waiting for a being to come along who understood that the tenth dimension’s organizing principle was not a law in the way the third dimension’s organizing principle was space, or the fourth dimension’s was time.

The tenth dimension’s organizing principle was purpose. The dimension of what-things-are-for.
