He spoke in a dismissive tone, practically chasing Chase away like a nuisance. Chase’s face darkened greatly, yet he forced himself to hold back his anger.

Meanwhile, Jensen had already walked into the living room. Esther was surprised to see him arrive so early, Kent carried quite a few nourishing health supplements in his hands, and the maid quickly stepped forward to take them all away.

“You shouldn’t have rushed over so early with so many gifts,” Esther said warmly. “Make yourself at home here just like you would in your own house. There’s no need for such formalities.”
