Chapter 463

It was very late in the night when I stepped out of my car and entered the house. I crossed the hall, pausing
for a few seconds to stare at the Gafi gang lounging on the patio, drinking and smoking.
I ignored them and walked inside, pushing the door open into the living room.
Desmond rushed toward me immediately.
“How is he?” he asked but stopped, searching my face. “You saw him, didn’t you?”
“Where is Yasmin?”
“In the bedroom,” he replied, leading me up the stairs before opening the door.
I stopped in the doorway, heart cracking wide, then walked in, cautious. I stood there for a long time, simply staring at her face.
She was… so beautiful.
Looking at her dragged me backward through time. She had grown so much. Once she’d been the tiny girl obsessed with paint and color. We brushed that off as childish madness.
She was so young, we used to say but she was our treasure. Mine and Marlik’s.
While we went out to do reckless things, we safeguarded Yasmin like the most delicate creature alive. Who would have imagined she’d grow up to be violated like this?
Her legs shifted, snapping me back to the present. I glanced at Desmond, he saw it too.
“It’s been hours since the sedative,” he murmured. “She should wake up now.”
I turned back and she was already awake, amber eyes like Marlik’s, staring at me wide, confused, terrified.
I blinked, words drying in my throat. Would she even recognize me? Would she remember anything?
“Yas…”
“Hal sent you?” she cut in, sitting up fast, frantic. “Is he here? What does he want me to do? Are you another client?”
I froze, unable to grasp what she meant before she dropped to her knees and reached for my belt.
“I’ll service you well. Please don’t report me. Please don’t…”
“Yasmin!” my mother’s voice cut through the sickness in the air, and Yasmin froze solid. “What are you doing? He is your brother!”
Yasmin collapsed to the floor, confusion and disbelief crashing over her. I lost every ounce of strength. I walked to the bed and quietly sat, staring into nothing, trying to comprehend what just happened.

“Mom?” Yasmin whispered, crawling into her arms as the sobbing filled the room. I blinked my own tears back, forcing myself steady for therr, and for the rest of the Godlike empire hanging on my shoulders.

I set the bag of cash on the patio table, silencing the chatter at once. Gafi looked up, met my gaze for a long beat, then signaled the three of his men to leave us.
When they were gone, I sat across from him, feeling freshen up after a bath, a bit better. I pulled out a cigarette, lighting up while he inspected the bag.
“It’s a lot, Boss,” he muttered in awe. “More than usual.”

What do you need from me? Just say it.”
nodded to Desmond ahead, who came to set another bag on the table.
“Hal will want Yasmin back. When he realizes she’s gone, he’ll panic. Contact him and tell him to come to H.O.W.L street to get her. Lure him in. Leave the rest to me.”
Gafi studied me for a moment, before asking carefully,
“Hal is the man you want to kill, Boss? Isn’t he Feroz’s brother?”
“Killing him is mercy,” I said coldly. “He raped my sister for years. What I plan is nothing compared to what she endured. Do it. Leave no trace.”
Gafi grinned, opening the money, eyes gleaming.
“You’ll get the text. It’ll be a piece of cake.”

Yasmin had mistaken me for a client, and went to her knees. Damn.
“Boss, what’s the plan after Hál dies?” Desmond asked, breaking the quiet.
“I’ll kill him in front of H.O.W.L, cause uproar: Media will howl by morning.”
“There’s something else,” Desmond continued. I lifted my gaze. “The judge who sentenced Marlik for four years, Rocco Frost. Snowflake’s eldest brother.”
I went still. Desmond continued anyway.
“The prosecutor who dragged Marlik to court for murder was Eshan Frost. Snowflake’s second brother. And the judge who sealed his life sentence was Neils White, husband of Ranta Bani. Ranta Bani is Ares Bani’s elder sister
