The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 1150

Chapter 1150: A Tiny Greeting

Not that anyone else would’ve particularly complained had such a thing actually happened.

After all...

Who would truly mind being led by someone so unbelievably adorable?

Sure, there would always be naysayers eager to argue against the very principle of it.

But let them stand in front of those enormous golden eyes and those impossibly chubby cheeks first. Then see just how many of them could still manage to utter even a single untoward word.

Because even now, the people gathered around the medical bay were finding it difficult to string coherent thoughts together after one look at the dazzling little Queen.

More importantly, it wasn’t as though this was something that could realistically threaten the balance of the world.

If creating a being like this were truly so simple, then shouldn’t there already be countless spirits of this caliber wandering around?

Most definitely.

After all, who wouldn’t covet the kind of power such a spirit represented?

The problem was that the requirements themselves bordered on absurd.

One first needed an exceptional beast that was both willing and capable of forming such a connection. Then there had to be a Master powerful enough to sustain that bond, and an environment in which it could safely flourish rather than collapsing midway through the process. Finally, there needed to be sufficient resources to continuously nourish the spirit after its birth.

And that alone was already the requirement for a single Master.

Now imagine attempting to satisfy those same conditions with two who would inevitably contend with compatibility issues that could ruin everything midway.

Yet somehow...

These two had done exactly that.

Not only had they successfully guided the Queen Bee into metamorphosis, but they had also produced a spirit that had already reached a level capable of astonishing even the Elders.

As the old cultivators quietly observed the tiny Queen floating before them, none of them made any attempt to hide the awe on their faces.

Those two youngsters had somehow nurtured a spirit whose rank already exceeded both of their own.

It was an outcome so extraordinary that there was really only one explanation for it.

Those nurturing the spirit had never established boundaries.

Or perhaps, more accurately...

He’d never thought to.

Throughout the entire process, Jax had apparently allowed the little Queen to draw from him without the safeguards cultivators normally placed around themselves. Those restrictions existed for a reason. Above all else, they ensured the Master’s own survival should the spirit’s appetite become too great.

Even cultivators whose realms far surpassed Jax’s would rarely, if ever, produce spirits that exceeded their own rank because self-preservation naturally remained their highest priority.

How, then, could they possibly expect someone with an ordinary cultivator’s mindset to arrive at the same result?

Not everyone would willingly nourish a spirit with the same wholehearted resolve they reserved for an actual child growing within the womb, readily accepting whatever burden came with ensuring that child’s survival and growth.

Jax, however...

Had never consciously thought about any of that.

He’d simply given everything, even beyond what he could spare; no wonder he looked like he was being drained like that.

And somewhere along the way, that quiet sincerity had undoubtedly reached the little Queen, who’d remained utterly captivated from the very beginning of her existence.
