The Scumbag's Guide To Heroism novel Chapter 46

Chapter 46: 46 | There Is No Going Back

Her lips met mine. Soft. Testing. Nothing like Sloane’s desperate hunger. This was controlled. Diane kissed like she did everything else—with absolute command of the situation.

My hands found her waist, feeling the silk of her nightgown under my fingers. She made a soft sound against my mouth, approval at my initiative.

"Sit," she ordered, pulling back slightly.

I sat beside her on the bed. The mattress sank beneath our combined weight, sliding us closer together.

Diane swung one leg over mine, straddling my lap in a smooth motion. Her nightgown rode up to her hips, leaving only thin lace between us. She settled her weight directly onto my erection, grinding slowly.

"Let me clarify something," she said, hands on my shoulders. "I know exactly what you’re doing with my daughter. I know exactly what you want from her." Her hips rolled forward. "But I need to know what you want from me."

The pressure was incredible. Her weight on my lap. The thin fabric between us. The fact that this was Diane fucking Fitzgerald grinding on me like a college girl.

"I—" My brain short-circuited.

"The truth, Lukas." Her hands moved from my shoulders to my face, holding me so I couldn’t look away. "What do you want?"

"You," I said simply. "Right now, I want you."

She smiled. Not her professional smile. Something darker. More genuine.

"Good boy." She kissed me again, deeper this time.

My hands slid up her thighs to her hips, feeling the curve of her ass under the silk. She rocked against me, creating friction that made thinking nearly impossible.

〘 Diane Fitzgerald – Temptation Gauge: 42% (+7%)

Status: Actively engaging, establishing dominance dynamic, testing boundaries

Recommendation: Allow subject to maintain perceived control while escalating physical contact. Subject responds positively to directness and honesty. 〙

Her gauge climbing seven points from proximity alone told me everything I needed to know about how far past professional concern we’d traveled. The System wasn’t insane. It was calculating. And right now, every variable pointed in exactly one direction.

Diane’s hands moved to my chest, pushing me backward until I lay flat on the bed. She remained on top, straddling me, her pink hair falling around her face.

"Now," she said, "about that hypothesis of yours."

She reached down between us, slipping her hand into my sweatpants again. Her fingers wrapped around me, squeezing with just the right amount of pressure.

"If physical intimacy enhances your powers," she continued, stroking slowly, "then we should test that theory thoroughly. For science."

Her hand moved steadily, up and down, twisting slightly at the top in a way that made my hips buck involuntarily.

"Look at me," she commanded when my eyes started to close.

I forced them open, meeting her gaze. Her blue eyes burned with intensity, pupils dilated with arousal.

"Tell me what you want to do to me," she said.

My mind raced through a thousand possibilities. Things I’d thought about late at night. Things I’d never admit to anyone. Things I definitely shouldn’t say to the woman who’d been raising me since I was eight.

"Everything," I said instead. "I want to do everything to you."
