But when the confirmation sound rang, and her balance dropped back to its sad, original number… her heart still hurt.
Ten million!
That was ten million stellar coins!
It stayed in her account for just a few minutes, like a short, beautiful dream. And then it was gone.

Chapter 112 Elizabeth’s Mother–in–law
She immediately cleared out two storage buttons.
One had a capacity of 35 cubic feet. The other had a capacity of 318 cubic feet.
Finished
For the smaller one, she picked out her best–looking strawberries. She packed them into boxes, then stored them inside the storage button until it was full.
That alone used up almost one–third of all her ripe strawberries!
Looking at that vibrant red filling the storage button, she felt a pang of reluctance, but when she thought about the ten million, she knew this return gift had to be generous.
As for the larger storage button, she filled it with sweet potatoes and potatoes, half and half, stuffing it to the brim.
The heavy, full tubers filled every bit of space. This was real food–valuable on any planet, especially since she had watered them with spiritual rainwater. The quality was top–tier.
Once the return gift was ready, Elizabeth felt a lot better.
Once she finished picking all the strawberries, she walked over to where the kids were working.
She found Paul, who was busy picking small stones out of a pile of gravel with the other kids from Hope Town.
Next to him was a pale, thin woman moving a bit slowly but doing the same work.
That was Paul’s mom.
Paul spotted Elizabeth right away. He jumped up excitedly, tugged on his mom’s clothes, and said loudly, ‘Mom! Mom! This is Ms. Elizabeth, the one who saved us! She’s the one who brought us here and gave us jobs!”
Hearing that, Paul’s mom’s dull eyes suddenly filled with deep gratitude.
She struggled to get on her knees in front of Elizabeth, mumbling, “Ms. Elizabeth, thank you. Thank you for saving Paul, for saving us…”
Elizabeth quickly stepped forward and caught her before she could kneel. “Please don’t do that. Just focus on getting healthy and working hard–that’s the best way to pay me back.”
As she spoke, she took out a small plastic box from her storage button and handed it to Paul.
Inside were ten perfectly arranged strawberries.
Paul’s eyes went wide. He clearly recognized them–the insanely expensive strawberries from the catalog.
He quickly hid his hands behind his back and shook his head. “T–this is too valuable! We can’t take it!”
Elizabeth directly put the box into his hands, her voice leaving no room for argument. “Take it. You were the one who found the seeds in the first place. Now that they’re ripe, isn’t it only right that you get a taste?”
Paul held the box as if it were a fragile dream. His face turned red with excitement, his lips trembling.
