The delivery confirmation from the logistics department and the storage location notice were sitting right
there in his inbox.
Cristian scanned them, his expression shifting from confusion to shock, and then to total disbelief.
He suddenly looked up at Travis. “Those … potatoes and sweet potatoes. Can they really treat mental power damage?”
“Most likely, yes! I don’t have time to explain everything right now!” Travis was practically jumping with anxiety. “Get those supplies to the ICU and emergency center! Now! Right now!”
Cristian didn’t hesitate. Decisive action was second nature to him.
He instantly contacted the base logistics chief. “This is Cristian Hewitt. Immediately deliver all supplies under my name, serial number CZ–3347, to the central emergency unit. I repeat, everything! As fast as possible! This is a top–priority command!”
The order went out, and the entire logistics system moved fast.
In less than ten minutes, a spaceship arrived under armed escort and stopped outside the emergency
center.
A mech soldier stepped out and handed Cristian a large case.
Inside, row after row of storage buttons were neatly organized.
Travis didn’t even wait for Cristian. He reached in himself and grabbed the storage buttons labeled for produce.
Potatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, and even some apples and melons. There was a huge amount.
There was no time to hesitate. No time for complicated prep.
Under Travis’s frantic direction, the medical team got to work. Some potatoes and sweet potatoes were quickly washed, stearned at high heat, and mashed into an easy–to–swallow puree. The strawberries were either juiced or fed whole.
Cristian ignored suggestions to treat his own arm first. He jumped right in to help with the feeding
He knew some of the critically injured, especially those close to losing control or already unconscious. needed someone strong and steady to feed them safely
He walked over to Elmer’s bed
The young officer’s eyes were shut tight His brows were furrowed His body twitched from time to time
On the monitor, the mental power stability line fluctuated wildly His damage level stayed locked at the dangerous red line–82%.

dripped the strawberry–infused potato puree into his mouth.
His movements were stiff; it was clearly his first time doing anything like this.

Not just for Elmer, but for Beau and every critically injured soldier. Cristian worked alongside the medics, patiently carrying out this bizarre rescue mission.
And then, in the middle of that tense, silent waiting, a miracle began to happen.
The first changes appeared in the less severely injured patients.
Shortly after taking the fruits and vegetables, the soldiers‘ painful expressions began to soften. Their tense bodies relaxed, their breathing evened out, and they eventually fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.
Next were the ones like Beau, who’d been restless or even aggressive. After being fed, he slowly calmed down. The violent fluctuations in his mental power smoothed out, like something gentle was calming hem. One by one, the piercing alarms on the monitors stopped.
And then, the worst cases. People like Elmer, whose damage was the highest and who was slipping into a leep coma.
Time passed, second by second. Just when some people were starting to lose hope, the numbers on Elmer’s monitor finally changed!
That stubborn 82% damage value dropped to 81.9%, then 81.8%… The drop was small and slow, but the rend was crystal clear.
At the same time, the chaos in his brainwave readings started to settle. His vital signs became more stable
It’s dropping! It’s really dropping!”
It works! It actually works!”
Oh my god… This is a miracle…”
They’re going to make it! The guys are saved!”
Hushed gasps and muffled sobs of joy broke out across the emergency center
