“Understood, Mr. Norton!” Rufus said, fully at ease now, as ambition and scheming flickered back in his

eyes.

With backing from the very top and Jayden stepping in himself, most of his concerns disappeared.

“Get to work. Report to me directly whenever there’s progress,” Jayden said. Then the screen went dark.

Rufus leaned back in his chair and let out a long breath. A cold smile slowly formed on his lips.

Mr. Norton was right. When it came to a treasure that could start a whole new era, any obstacle could be removed… or crushed.
