Chapter 384 No One Is Immune
Unlike the rough and straightforward excitement in the repair workshop, a more restrained but equally intense undercurrent was moving through Centria Planet’s Kingdom Third Hospital.
Cheryllina, an associate chief physician in the neurology department, had just finished a complex neural connection surgery. After washing her hands, she returned to her office.
She had not even had time to take off her white coat when her personal device began vibrating urgently. It was a confirmation notice from the shipping company along with electronic boarding passes. She and her husband, Emeriton, had secured two premium cabin tickets to Planet A001, scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Even for someone as calm and rational as Cheryllina, her heart began to race, and a look of unmistakable joy spread across her face.
She and Emeriton were both loyal fans of Tycoon Farm’s products. The early batches of potatoes and strawberries had been especially effective in relieving the mental fatigue caused by their long hours of intense work.
After the routes had been cut off, they had continued to follow news about the farm and had worried about Elizabeth’s situation.
This time, when the routes reopened, the couple had mobilized every device and connection they could to secure tickets. They had not expected luck to actually be on their side.
She was just about to steady herself and call Emeriton to share the good news when there was a somewhat urgent knock on her office door.
“Come in,” Cheryllina said, adjusting her expression.
The door opened, and instead of a patient or a nurse, in walked Milton Grant, the hospital’s vice president in charge of logistics and staff welfare. Behind him was Doug Hansen, the director of medical administration. Both men wore warm but slightly eager smiles.
“Cheryllina, just finished up?” Milton asked with a friendly tone. “We heard… you managed to get tickets to Planet A001?”
Cheryllina paused. The news had spread fast.
She nodded. “Yes, Mr. Grant, Mr. Hansen. I got lucky and managed to book tickets for tomorrow.” “That’s great. That’s really great,” Doug said, clapping his hands, clearly pleased. “You’re the only one in the whole hospital who got them. Cheryllina, do you think you could… help us out with a small favor?”
Milton picked up where he left off, his tone even more polite. “Yes, Cheryllina. You know how demanding the work here is. A lot of our staff, including us older folks, have some degree of mental fatigue. The products from that farm really do work. Quite a few people in the hospital have been talking about it. So we were wondering, since you’re going, if it’s convenient, could you… bring some back for everyone? The quantity might be a bit large, so it would take some effort to keep track…”
The two of them went back and forth, making their meaning perfectly clear.

Cheryllina looked at the two usually serious administrators, now showing undisguised anticipation, almost a pleading look. There was no way she could refuse.
She had always been a kind and helpful person.
“You’re both too polite,” Cheryllina said with a smile, agreeing readily. “I can help bring things back. But I should say in advance, the farm has purchase limits. Each person can only buy a certain amount of each item. I’ll try to get as many varieties as possible and share them when I return. Everyone should at least get a taste.”
“Good, good, that’s more than enough. Just getting a taste is fine,” Milton said happily. He immediately pulled out a folded piece of paper from inside his coat. “This is something a few department heads asked me to pass along… a kind of shopping list. Take your time with it. Just do what you can.”
Cheryllina took the paper, which was filled with the names of various fruits and vegetables along with requested quantities, and could not help but smile wryly.
The appeal of Elizabeth’s farm really reached everywhere.
After finally seeing the two leaders off, who thanked her repeatedly, Cheryllina closed the door and at last had the chance to call Emeriton.
The call connected quickly. Emeriton’s image appeared on the holographic screen, with the background showing his office at the research institute, cluttered with documents and equipment.
He looked somewhat tired, but his eyes were gentle.
“Cheryllina, finished with surgery?” Emeriton asked.
“Just finished. Emeriton, I’ve got good news,” Cheryllina said, unable to hide her smile. “We got the tickets. Tomorrow morning, the Silverstream to Planet A001.”
