Chapter 70 Unexpected Scene

The red gleam in OneEye’s eyes burned brighter as he nodded without hesitation. Fine. Together it is. Boys, wait for your turn. After we’re done having our fun, you’ll get your share!

On the barren garbage mountain, a breathtaking woman all alone looked to them like a gift dropped from heavena plump lamb waiting to be slaughteredstirring the most primitive filth in their hearts.

They exchanged a leering grin and couldn’t hold back any longer. Like starving wolves lunging at prey, they charged straight at the defenseless figure on the recliner.

The lackeys behind them were only a step slower, scrambling to keep up, afraid that if they lagged behind, they wouldn’t even get scraps.

OneEye, relying on his strength and bulk, rushed ahead at the front.

Just a few steps away from the recliner, he could already imagine the feel of that delicate skin under his palm.

And then

Everything changed in an instant.

His foot suddenly sank, as if he’d stepped into invisible quicksand.

In the next heartbeat, an indescribable sharpness materialized out of thin airan edge so cold that it made his soul tremble.

Shhk!

A slicing sound so faint that it was almost inaudible.

OneEye felt a chill in his right leg, and the force of his forward momentum sent him crashing facefirst to the ground.

As his body slammed down, he saw in horror that one of his thighs had been severed clean off at the root, left behind where he’d just stood.

The cut was smooth as glass, blood erupting like a fountain.

Ahhh!! My leg!!The agony hit a split second later, crashing over him like a tidal wave. His scream tore through the night, no longer sounding human.

But that was only the beginning of the slaughter.

Before he or the men behind him could even process what was happening, countless fine, nearly invisible streaks of silver light flickered through the air again, like a living net of death.

Shhk! Shhk! Shhk!

The sound of blades carving through flesh rang out in rapid succession, sickening and sharp.

Under OneEye’s despairing gaze, his remaining leg and both arms separated from his torso in the blink of an eye.

Blood soaked the ground, leaving him a limbless, writhing horror shrieking in madness.

The invisible web of death was about to close over his head.

And at that very moment, the person on the recliner, seemingly disturbed by the noise, lazily and slowly opened her eyes.

As her eyes lifted, the silver lights flashing through the air vanished, as though they’d never existed.

Elizabeth sat up at an unhurried pace and stretched casually, somehow even more captivating awake than she’d been in sleep.

She glanced at the bloodsoaked, hellish scene before her without so much as a frown, as if she were merely looking at a pile of unsightly trash.

her mouth with one hand, she let out a small yawn, her tone tinged with mild

Mamba, who’d been a few steps behind and had narrowly escaped, along with the lackeys who’d skidded to a halt behind him, had already been scared out of their wits.

Their legs went weak as noodles. One by one, they collapsed to the ground with dull thuds, faces drained of color, bodies shaking violently, the stench of urine spreading through the air.

The way they looked at Elizabeth now held nothing but boundless terror.

The stunning beauty they’d lusted after moments ago had turned into a demon crawling up from hell.

Adam led every ablebodied man and woman from Hope Town, young and old alike, racing anxiously toward Elizabeth’s camp in the southeast.

Each person’s heart was lodged in their throat. In their minds, they’d already played out
