The Stolen Heiress: Claimed by her Father's Ruthless Enemy. novel Chapter 28

Chapter 28: The Auction(2)

"Don’t tell me you will use that cheap stuff on my expensive suit. I want you to use something softer... Your hands," he said, eyeing me from head to toe. Now, he wasn’t trying to hide his true intentions anymore, it was all written on his face, and it made me immediately want to throw up.

"Let go. I will pay for the suit." The man didn’t budge, and I couldn’t bear it any longer. He wanted to harass me and I was a fool to actually believe he was being nice.

"I don’t need your money, angel. You’re really beautiful and your skin is so soft and tender. Only your hands are qualified to wipe my suit."

Suddenly, he put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer, then started caressing my arm with his palm. My face went pale and I started to pull away, but he wouldn’t let me go. His grip on me was so tight that I couldn’t breathe.

"Let me go! What are you doing? I will call the security guards if you don’t let me go!"

The man grinned, revealing his yellow teeth. "Call whoever you want. Do you know who I am? I am the boss of Rou Travel Corporation. Even Mr. Rick respects me. He won’t be angry if I decide to take any woman here today. So don’t try to be on my bad side and do as I say."

Now, I wasn’t just angry anymore, I was scared. Scared of what this man might do to me. He was much stronger and would easily have the upper hand. Just then, I remembered I was wearing high heels. Without a second thought, I stepped on the man’s foot with all my strength.

He screamed in pain and quickly released me. "My foot... what have you done, you little wrench?!"

Seeing him in pain, I turned around and took to my heels, which made the man more furious.

"Go! Catch that bitch for me!" He shouted angrily at his bodyguards behind him, and they ran after me.

The heels were making it difficult to run faster, and not before long, the bodyguards caught up with me and grabbed my arms, dragging me back to the man.

My face turned bright red as I glared daggers at his ugly face. "What the hell do you want from me?! I don’t care who you are or where you live; this is illegal. Please, let me go..."

My voice drew attention towards us, and soon we were surrounded. But no one dared to interfere. They probably thought it was some couples fighting and just stood there watching me with pity. I hated it. I wanted to scream for help, but the man didn’t seem like he cared about what people say or do.

"You’re not from an upper family. If you do, you would have known Adam Rouger. I don’t care about ’illegal’ or the law. I only care about three people, and those people are George Steele, John Ford, and the founder of the biggest real estate agency in the world... Alexander Vaughn. If you’re not related to these people, then I can easily crush you and your family into pieces."

Hearing Alexander and my father’s name, my eyes widened. I thought of telling him that George Steele was my father and I was the wife of Alexander Vaughn, then decided not to. None of them cared, and it would be very risky to say that in public. Alexander warned me never to dare.

The man stepped forward, fisted my hair and yanked my head backward, while his bodyguards still held me down.

"I will make you regret ever playing with me," he hissed through his teeth, and began to lean closer to my face. Oh God... please no... I shut my eyes, hoping that when I opened them again, everything would disappear.

"Seems like you’re always getting in trouble, Mi Lady."

Finally.

I slowly opened my eyes, hearing Seith’s voice and a euphoric sigh of relief left my lips before I could stop it.

"You didn’t have to do that... but thank you for saving me."

"He deserves it," he stated. "Well, the auction will begin soon. If you don’t feel like going, I can add ten percent to the final bid and get it for you."

As soon as he mentioned the necklace, I suddenly remembered why I was there and started pulling myself together.

"Don’t worry, I can go. Getting my necklace would make me feel better." There were a lot of questions regarding the necklace. Why did my grandma give it to me and not Claudia, the heiress? How did Claudia find it and why did she donate it? I needed those answers.

Seith’s brows furrowed. "Are you sure you want to go out like that?"

I gazed at him confused. What was he talking about? Then it suddenly clicked... the incident that just happened. I quickly reached for my bag and fished out a mirror, and when I saw my reflection, I gasped.

I looked like a bundle of mess. My hair was rough and my makeup was ruined. Oh God... what would I do? I couldn’t go out looking like this. Even the thought of Seith seeing me like this made me want to bury myself in shame.

I covered my face with my hands and awkwardly said, "You can go first. I have to fix my makeup; I will come back when I have finished."

"No need. Follow me."
