The Triplets My Ex Never Knew About novel Chapter 85

Chapter 85: Chapter 85: They Look Like a Family of Five

Estelle Lockwood froze in Nathaniel Sloan’s arms.

Zachery watched the two of them in their embrace, feeling a sense of gratification.

’The process was a bit ridiculous... but in the end, they’re finally hugging!’

The movie was about to end, so Zachery decided to strike while the iron was hot. "Mommy, Uncle Sloan, I’m hungry! Let’s go get something to eat!"

Estelle Lockwood’s face grew redder. She gripped the back of the seat so tightly that her veins bulged, just barely keeping herself from putting all her weight on Nathaniel Sloan’s lap.

When neither of them moved after he spoke, Zachery couldn’t help but ask again, "...Mommy?"

Nathaniel’s arm was around her waist. She was sitting on his lap, shielding *that spot* from view. Estelle didn’t dare to look at Zachery. Her mind raced as she tried to think of something to say, but Nathaniel spoke first, his voice husky.

"Miss Lockwood twisted her ankle."

Zachery immediately said, "Let me come take a look!"

"No need. Christian, take them and go out first. I’ll help Miss Lockwood out."

Nathaniel caught a glimpse of the woman in his arms from the corner of his eye. If he didn’t get the kids out of there, Estelle Lockwood was probably going to explode.

Before Zachery and Mia could even react, Christian led them away.

The screening room instantly fell silent.

Estelle Lockwood’s face was flushed with embarrassment. She gritted her teeth. "You can let go of me now!"

Nathaniel released her, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Of course."

Estelle immediately used the armrest for support and pushed herself up. Her legs felt weak and shaky, and she almost stumbled back down.

She scrambled into the aisle, took several deep breaths, and shot Nathaniel a glare over her shoulder as she walked out.

Nathaniel forcefully suppressed the desire in his eyes, straightened his suit, and walked out as well.

When Estelle Lockwood stepped out of the screening room, she saw that the other theaters weren’t necessarily full, but they were at least half-occupied.

But their theater had been completely empty from start to finish, except for her and Nathaniel Sloan.

Then she met the three little ones’ shifty, guilty gazes and thought about how Zachery and Mia had insisted on dragging her to the movies... Hah.

Estelle Lockwood said coolly, "Booking out an entire theater... Quite the big spender. Whose idea was this?"

Zachery coughed twice and braced himself. "A man’s gotta take responsibility for his actions. Mommy, it was all me!"

Christian grew anxious, worried that they had gone too far and made her angry.

’But even if she’s angry, I have to step up,’ he thought. ’I can’t let Zachery take all the blame!’

"Auntie Yara, please don’t blame Zachery. I’m the one who paid to book the theater. It has nothing to do with them."

Mia’s eyes welled up with tears of gratitude. ’The little young master and that little dummy Zachery are so nice!’

"No, Mommy, it was my idea! The little young master and Zachery were just listening to me!"

Estelle Lockwood: "..."

Estelle Lockwood looked at the three little dumplings standing in a united front before her, a headache brewing. "It’s good that you’re so eager to admit your mistakes. But will you dare to do it again?"

Zachery looked at the sky. Mia looked at the ground. Neither dared to look at Estelle Lockwood.

Christian told a little lie, his head bowed and his face red. "Auntie Yara, we won’t do it again."

It was obvious he didn’t mean it.

’Still...’ Estelle Lockwood wondered, ’since when did these three little ones get so close?’
