The True Heiress Is The Real Bigshot novel Chapter 1161

Chapter 1161: Chapter 26: Punishing Scum, Norton Tricks Sinai, Cohabitation Begins (Part 2)

"Mm, I know." Sinai pondered for a moment, "Do you know her?"

"Kind of." Charlotte said, "Our school eliminates quite a few students every year. As long as the annual assessment doesn’t meet the standard, they’ll be demoted. If they fall to D level, they’ll be automatically dismissed."

"She didn’t even pass the entrance assessment, and she’s always bragging about having attended Norton University."

Charlotte snorted.

If Annie had really gotten into Norton University, with her level, she would have had any memories of Norton University erased and been sent back to her country long ago.

Only then did Sinai realize that a certain person’s name was truly everywhere to her.

She paused for a moment, then looked away: "When do your principal’s classes start?"

"It’s only December now." Charlotte counted on her fingers, "The second semester is in March, and he only teaches one class a week."

Sinai remained silent for an instant.

Three more months to go.

If he doesn’t leave, can’t she at least avoid him?

At worst, she could stay in the office for three months without leaving.

Charlotte was curious: "Teacher, do you want to audit a class? I think you could apply for a professor position at our school."

"No." Sinai paused, the image of those dark green eyes flashed through her mind, and her expression turned instantly emotionless, "I don’t want to work for bloodsucking capitalists."

Charlotte: "???"

Their principal, a bloodsucking capitalist?

As the two were chatting, suddenly, the sound of urgent footsteps arose.

In a matter of seconds, members of the Oversight Team surrounded Sinai’s office.

Sinai looked up, her eyes narrowing.

Annie, disheveled and still in the same clothes, was trembling.

"She’s carrying a gun!" Annie pointed at Sinai, "She doesn’t even have a gun permit! And she’s not part of the Oversight Team! I suspect she’s an undercover sent by another force to assassinate the professors!"

As she spoke, her teeth were chattering.

Sinai’s gun-handling skills were too deft.

If she hadn’t been specially trained, how could she have those techniques?

The leader of the Oversight Team stepped forward, signaling a team member to take the silver gun from the desk: "May we inspect it?"

Although phrased politely, it was clearly a firm request.

Sinai nodded: "Go ahead."

The Oversight Team leader shook his head: "Miss Sinai, my apologies for the disturbance."

He motioned two team members to escort Annie out and closed the door.

Charlotte sighed with relief. After the Inspection Team left, she turned: "Teacher, was that really a toy gun?"

"It’s playable, but generally, I use it for self-defense." Sinai raised her hand again and casually aimed at an abandoned metal box.

The trigger was pulled, and a laser shot out.

The metal box melted instantly.

In less than a second, not even ashes were left.

Charlotte: "..."

What the hell?

This is supposed to have zero lethal power?

How did the Oversight Team inspect it?

"Xiaxia, help me deliver this letter to Team A." Sinai said, "Inside are two tickets to the technology exhibition, the date is December 29th, ask Mr. Alfonso if he has time to go."

Hearing this, Charlotte was excited: "Okay, I’ll go right now, is there any other message you want to send?"
