“Stop it–that tickles…” Riley squirmed.

In the dim light, Sebastian’s gaze deepened, fixed on the pale, bare curve of her waist. Without warning, he leaned down and pressed a hot, deliberate kiss against her skin, leaving no room for refusal.
“Just marking my territory,” he murmured, his voice thick and low.

Riley gasped, a jolt shooting through her as she shuddered slightly. The sensation was so sharp she barely had time to register the burn of his lips before her heart started racing.
“So are you two napping in there, or having a romantic moment?
“Anyone up for deep–sea fishing?”
Colin’s booming voice cut through the air from outside, followed by an insistent knock on the door.
Riley seized the escape. She pushed Sebastian, who was leaning in for more, away, smoothed down her rumpled dress, and hurried toward the door. “Coming! We’re in!”
Down at the marina, Jerold had a yacht ready and waiting. On board, aside from two professional captains, uniformed attendants stood by with refreshments and chilled champagne.
“I heard this season’s catch is incredible–huge shrimp and grouper everywhere,” Audrey said, now decked out in a bright yellow bikini under a sheer white cover–up, gripping a fishing rod with eager eyes. “I’m going all out today. Whatever I catch, we’ll send straight to the kitchen for dinner.”
Colin leaned against the railing, toying with his sunglasses, unable to resist a jab. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, Audrey. If you come back empty–handed, just don’t throw a tantrum.”
“Colin! Shut your mouth!”
The yacht glided over the sapphire waves, slicing through white foam. Before long, they reached their designated fishing spot. A number of other yachts were already scattered across the water, clearly, plenty of people had the same holiday idea.
Sebastian assembled two rods with practiced ease, handing one to Riley. “Ever done this?”
Riley took it, adjusted the reel by copying him, and shot him a confident smile. “Doesn’t look too hard. I’ll figure it out.”
Maybe beginner’s luck was on her side: within minutes of casting her line, the rod tip jerked sharply. She reeled in, and a massive shrimp broke the surface with a splash.
“Whoa! First cast and you already caught something?” Audrey stared, wide–eyed with envy. “Riley, are you one of those people who’s good at absolutely everything?”
Riley laughed and shook her head. “Pure luck, I swear. I wish I had that kind of genius brain.”
The group laughed and chatted on deck, soaking up the sun in comfortable camaraderie.

But the easy mood didn’t last.
Across the placid water, a garishly painted luxury yacht was cruising toward them, its engines churning up waves that rocked their vessel.
On the deck of the approaching boat sat a man in an obnoxiously bright floral shirt, his hair slicked back with too much product. He had a young model draped over each arm, oozing the vulgar confidence new money.
