As she spoke, Themis buried her head in the chest of the beastman beside her and began to sob loudly.

Her voice rang out clearly. Many people around them nodded in agreement.

Others frowned and argued back. “But she’s still his birth mother. She’s worried about him and even willing to spend money for him. This feels too harsh.”

Themis seized the moment. “Rosalie, should I tell everyone about what you did in the past?”
