“That dish is savory eggs,” Rosalie said. “It’s simple to make, good for pregnant women, and helps with nutrition.”
She pointed to the plate. “And what’s on your plate is my new staple food. It’s called rice. Isn’t it much better than corn?”
The beastmen around her had already started eating without waiting. Rosalie picked up her plate and tasted the food she had made. The rice was soft and fragrant. As soon as it touched her tongue, she smiled with quiet happiness.
Leon lifted a forkful of meat and placed it onto Rosalie’s plate. Monica shot Rosalie a teasing look and blinked at her playfully.
Feeling a little embarrassed, Rosalie lowered her head and gently nudged Leon with her elbow. She whispered, “You don’t need to serve me food. Eat more yourself.”
Leon hummed in response and added even more food onto her plate anyway.
Cameron and Micah quickly joined in, adding food to her plate as well.
Even Declan and Elijah joined in. Elijah added a forkful of green peppers on top of the already towering plate and said with a grin, “You don’t look so well today. Eat more!”
Rosalie shot him a glare. That annoying peacock did it on purpose.
Before long, every dish on the table was wiped clean. Monica leaned back, holding her belly, completely satisfied.
“Rosalie, your cooking is way too good,” she said happily. “I’ve never seen skillet tomatoes before. That sweet and sour taste really makes you want to eat more.”

Rosalie brought out a plate of dried fruit she had made herself and handed one to Monica.
“If you like it, come visit often,” Rosalie said warmly. “I’ll keep cooking for you until your baby is born.”
Monica bit into the dried fruit and said through a full mouth, “You’re so kind. When my baby is born, I’ll make you the godmother!”
Rosalie gently poked Monica’s round belly and smiled so hard her eyes curved. “Little cub, hurry and come out,” she said softly.
“I’ll make lots of tasty food for you.”

From a distance, Micah watched Rosalie smiling and laughing. His eyes slowly turned red.
After staying for a while, Monica prepared to leave. Pregnant women tire more easily.
Rosalie packed half a basket of rice for her and carefully explained how to cook it. She reminded Monica to bring some back for her mother to try.
Monica agreed with a bright smile.
Rosalie walked into the House of Delicacies and went straight up to the second floor.
She knocked and stepped inside.
Gael had changed his outfit today. He wore bright red fur across his upper body, draped diagonally from one shoulder to his waist. The other side of his chest was left bare.
The moment Cameron saw Gael attire, he was ready to bare his sharp teeth.
Rosalie quickly grabbed Cameron’s wrist and said softly, “You wait outside. I’ll take my things and leave.”
Cameron refused to go. He only moved to a corner of the room. Leon acted as if he hadn’t heard and stood in the opposite corner.
Both of them stared at Gael without blinking. If Gael made even one wrong move, they were ready to tear him apart.
Rosalie sighed and said to Gael, “They worried too much about me. You don’t mind, do you?”
Gael raised an eyebrow slightly. His clear blue eyes rested on Rosalie. “Of course not.”
He glanced at the basket on her back. “What’s that you’re carrying?”
Rosalie placed the basket on the table and scooped out a handful of rice for him to see.
“This is rice,” she said. “Like corn, it’s a staple food. But it tastes better and keeps you
full longer.”
Gael was instantly interested. He called a chef up, and Rosalie explained how to cook it.
While waiting for the rice to finish cooking, the two chatted about small, unimportant things. Soon, the conversation faded, and the room grew quiet.
