As soon as her words fell, a nuclear warhead shot out from Ansford’s ocean, streaking toward an island in the Southern Hemisphere.

Before Decision Maker One could understand what Theresa meant, an impossibly bright light consumed his entire screen.

He died without ever knowing what it was.

A colossal, blazing mushroom cloud surged upward from that island. In an instant, tens of thousands of the Starborn Order’s most elite members and every advanced zombie they had painstakingly cultivated all turned into ash.

In the headquarters, Herold and 5587 stared blankly at the blinding light exploding from the screen.

They didn’t imagine that Theresa actually had a nuke.

At that moment, the way they looked at her completely changed.

Theresa had fought her way here alone, drenched in blood, and carrying death on her back from the very beginning. She slaughtered until the rivers ran red, her body was shattered, and every obstacle was annihilated.

Being carried in Herold’s arms, Theresa struggled to exchange a handful of emergency pills from her system. Her mangled, bloodied fingers trembled as she stuffed them into her mouth.

The cooling medicinal scent collided with the overpowering stench of her own blood.

She felt like she had lost her sense of taste since becoming half–zombie had erased most of it. All she could feel was the metallic tang of iron.

“Urgh!” Huge mouthfuls of blood poured from her mouth.

The strange smell of her mutated blood instantly agitated the incoming zombie tide.

In that instant, the underground camp erupted. Countless zombies in military uniforms surged out from every flooded corridor.

“Hrrahhh!”

One pale zombie soldier burst out of the icy water. Its foul mouth opened, revealing patches of mold–like white fungal growths clinging to its gums and tongue. The stench was suffocating.
