Charlotte slammed straight into a massive figure, bounced backward, and fell hard onto the floor.
She barely hit the tiles before the bulky man dropped into a crouch and lifted her with surprising care.
A rough voice hovered above her. “Hey, you okay?”
Tyger steadied her on her feet before letting go.
He always softened around women, no matter how intimidating he looked.
Charlotte replied, “I’m fine, really.”
Tyger checked her once more, then stepped aside politely and held the door open for her like a proper gentleman.
Charlotte stepped ahead to pass through, but Tyger stopped her again. “Hold on.”
“What now?”
“You’re, uh… you know…” His gaze flicked to a tiny red smear on the white floor before darting away awkwardly.
Charlotte followed his eyes. The faint spot made her freeze. Heat flooded her cheeks like wildfire.
Tyger gestured toward the hallway. “Use the restroom here. All of them are stocked with supplies for women.”
Her face burned as she hurried toward the restroom.
When she returned, she found Tyger mopping the floor.
The small mark by the door was already gone.
Her heartbeat jolted strangely.
“You’re here for the leader, right? Go on in.” Tyger offered a warm grin before carrying the mop inside the restroom.
Even after he disappeared, Charlotte’s pulse refused to calm.
She knew exactly who he was–Tyger Orwin, one of Theresa’s personal guards.

She had never spoken to him directly.
She always assumed he was scary.
He fought like a wrecking machine, so Charlotte always figured he would be impossible to approach.
She never expected him to be gentle.
Pressing her hands to her flushed face, Charlotte stepped into Theresa’s office.
“Theresa.”
Theresa was reviewing data behind her desk. The moment she looked up and saw Charlotte, a soft smile touched her face. “Perfect timing. I was about to check in with your camp.”
“What’s going on, Theresa?” Charlotte lowered her hands quickly.
Theresa noticed the warmth lingering on her cheeks.
Charlotte had blossomed in the Blazing Sun Alliance. She used to be small and sun–blackened. Now she had bright skin, rosy cheeks, and clear eyes that sparkled like polished grapes.
In her twenties, still radiant with youth, her cropped hair framed her face, bringing a lively charm to her look.
“What’s with your face? You’re red like a little apple.” Theresa set the report aside with a hint of
amusement.
“Really? Maybe I’m just warm.” Charlotte turned away and fanned her face quickly.
Theresa responded, “The heat’s up in here. Want to take your jacket off?”
“No, I’m good. What did you want to tell me? Go on.” Her color finally settled as she stepped closer to the desk.
Theresa began, “Your camp carried a huge burden during the last fight. You lost too many people. I want Spark Camp fully merged into Blazing Sun Camp.
“From today onward, you’ll be part of us. Spark Camp’s existing points stay yours. You’ll also receive full Blazing Sun Alliance benefits and work terms.
“Check with your brother. If everyone agrees, let me know.”
Charlotte’s eyes lit up instantly. “Of course, we agree! I want to merge right now!”
