Janet was watching Stefan closely. Noticing his gaze lingering on her lady, her guard instantly went up, and she issued a sharp, threatening warning.

The stunningly beautiful woman turned her head slightly, glanced at Stefan, then looked away. She spoke softly, "Janet, don't make trouble. Let's go."

With that, she began walking towards the entrance of the tower.

Janet shot Stefan a venomous glare before quickly following.

Stefan lit a cigarette, a slight, amused smile touching his lips.

He recognized them, but they clearly didn't recognize him.

Stefan followed them inside. He was curious—what were these two doing at Seabar Tower?

Could they also be here for the Tiger Head Society?

A woman of such extraordinary beauty was clearly someone of significant background and status. Why would a noble young lady like her lower herself to seek out the Tiger Head Society?

"You little bastard, can't you understand plain language? You dare to follow us? What are you trying to do?" Janet suddenly turned around after Stefan had only taken a few steps, her tone hostile.

Her temper is really something... Stefan narrowed his eyes, remaining casual. "This isn't your property. Are you so bored you have to meddle in other people's business?"

"You're asking for death!"

Janet's expression darkened. She clenched her right fist, ready to strike.

"Janet, stop it!" The beautiful woman's voice cut through, halting her. She looked at Stefan and couldn't help but ask, "Sir, are you also here for the Tiger Head Society?"

"Yes," Stefan nodded, adding, "here to collect a debt from them."

"Collect a debt?" The beautiful woman was momentarily surprised.

"A debt owed must be repaid. It's the natural order of things," Stefan said matter-of-factly, exhaling a stream of smoke.

Pfft!

Janet couldn't help but laugh, her tone mocking. "Do you even know what kind of people the Tiger Head Society is? You, alone, coming to collect money from them? That's hilarious!"

Stefan rolled his eyes at Janet. "Then how come you're still alive?"

"You—!" Janet caught his meaning, infuriated by the retort. All she wanted was to give him a good beating.

The beautiful woman gently restrained Janet. She looked at Stefan and offered a word of caution. "The Tiger Head Society is not to be trifled with. Coming here alone might lead to unpredictable consequences. Be careful."

With that, she walked directly into the building.

No wonder I hadn't heard of any Reed family in River City, or of a beauty like this. She's from Mound City.

Nina sat on the sofa and got straight to the point. "Korbin, my family has already purchased the land in this vicinity. Only this tower remains. Demolition has begun in the surrounding area. Under what conditions would you agree to transfer this building and allow its demolition?"

It turned out the Reed family planned to redevelop this area, establishing their commercial presence in River City.

But the Tiger Head Society, having caught wind of the plan somehow, had invested in buying Seabar Tower just before the Reed family could act. They now stubbornly refused demolition, holding out for an exorbitant price.

"No rush. Have some coffee. We can discuss slowly." Korbin smiled, personally pouring a cup of coffee for Nina.

Nina glanced at the teacup pushed before her but made no move to touch it.

"Korbin, just state the Tiger Head Society's terms directly. There's no point in going back and forth," Nina said, her tone cool.

"Since you ask so bluntly, I'll give you a number." Korbin lit a cigar, took a deep puff, then extended his left hand, turning it over in front of Nina.

"One billion?" Nina understood immediately, her expression darkening.

"That's right. One billion, and I'll agree to the demolition immediately." Korbin leaned back on the sofa, his intense gaze fixed on Nina. An uncontrollable flicker of greed flashed deep in his eyes.

He had heard countless times about the Reed family having a daughter as magnificent as a phoenix from the heavens.

Seeing her in person now, he was utterly captivated. He had never seen such an extraordinary beauty before.

"Korbin, don't be insatiably greedy!" Before Nina could respond, Janet erupted in anger. She pointed at Korbin, her voice filled with fury. "We've already investigated. The Tiger Head Society bought this tower for only 100 million back then. Now you dare ask for one billion? This is outright robbery!"
