Acting on pure instinct, she immediately lunged at Stefan.
Instantly, a fragrant breeze washed over him as a soft body pressed against his, an utterly intoxicating sensation. Stefan hurriedly reached out to steady her by the waist. If he hadn't, given her current delirious state, her burning hot lips would have pressed against his.
To be honest, Nina was undeniably irresistible at this moment. Her exquisite face was tinged with a delicate flush, her dazed eyes held a misty allure, and her voluptuous figure undulated with each ragged breath. Several buttons from her blouse's collar were gone, offering teasing glimpses of creamy, white skin smooth as mutton fat, a sight to mesmerize.
Stefan couldn't help but swallow. Give me a break. This was a disaster-level beauty. No normal man could resist. Not to mention, due to Stefan's own Solar Apex Vitals Body, his innate energy was already extremely potent, which meant his reaction was even more intense. If it weren't for the fact that they were surrounded by people, with over a hundred pairs of eyes watching, Stefan truly wouldn't have minded using the most primal method to help Nina neutralize the passion powder in her system.
"You lecher! Take your filthy hands off her! What are you trying to do to her?" Janet, fiercely protective, saw Stefan holding Nina by the shoulders and immediately panicked.
"Are you blind?" Stefan retorted impatiently. "Can't you see your lady is the one throwing herself at me? If I didn't hold her down, my first kiss would probably be gone by now..."
"I... I..." Janet stammered, knowing she'd misunderstood, but she still snorted. "I don't care! As long as I'm here, you can forget about having any wicked ideas about my lady!"
"Relax, I don't have a fetish for public performances." Stefan was exasperated. His fingers moved like lightning, swiftly pressing on several key acupoints on Nina's body, finally bringing her under control.
Then, he turned Nina around so her back faced him. He placed his right palm flat against her back. Internal hidden force couldn't expel the effects of the Bone-Softening Passion Powder, but the true energy of a martial cultivator could.
Stefan subtly released true energy from his palm, letting it flow into Nina's body through her back, beginning to disperse the drug's influence. The moment his energy entered her, Stefan seemed to sense something.
His expression froze momentarily. He confirmed it again, and his eyes suddenly lit up—
"Phoenix Holy Body?!"
Stefan was genuinely incredulous. To think he'd actually encounter a Phoenix Holy Body, a rare constitution on par with the Nether Shade Body. Such exceptional physiques were hard to come by even once in a century. Yet here he was, encountering two in just a few days.
Soon, sweat began to bead on Nina's skin—her face, her body. The drug's effects were being expelled from her pores along with the perspiration.
Nina was momentarily taken aback, then noticed her own state. A blush spread across her face, and she quickly turned slightly away. Janet took off her own jacket and draped it over Nina's shoulders.
Nina wasn't the prudish type; if she were, she wouldn't possess such... magnanimous assets. Her expression composed, she looked at Stefan and said, "Mr. Bryant, I'm truly indebted to you for your help this time. I'm endlessly grateful. I'll keep my promise to you, of course. Please give me a moment. I need to settle matters with the Tiger Head Society first."
"No problem." Stefan waved a hand dismissively, a cigarette dangling from his lips as he pulled out his phone to check the next place he needed to collect a debt from.
"Korbin! Your Tiger Head Society truly gets some real lion-hearted grit. How dare you collude with the Prescott family to set me up and drug me!" Nina stood up, an imposing aura radiating from her. Born into nobility, she naturally carried an air of dignity. Now, with her anger ignited, she was even more intimidating, making others afraid to meet her gaze directly.
"Ms. Reed, spare me! It was all Simon's idea! He was the one forcing me! I had no choice but to go along! Please, Ms. Reed, be merciful! Spare me just this once!" Korbin immediately began begging for mercy.
He had led his men to hack Simon into a pulpy, unrecognizable mess. That meant Nina held his life in her hands. All she had to do was report it to the Prescott family, and he'd be a dead man.
