HANNAH’S POV: 

THE NEXT DAY: 

“I love your nail color!” Kara gushed, as she stared at them making me smile. 

Yesterday was so much fun, I couldn’t even describe it. I never knew how much I missed spending with my children until I actually did. Amelia looked like she wasn’t about to give me hypertension a few days ago, she was so much healthier and she was growing and I was so happy. 

At some point, as she requested the type of the color of nails she wanted for her nails, I just stared at her and thought to myself I really do have a beautiful child. 

After the salon, we stopped at the spa and I was surprised when I saw the security handed me Elijah’s black card. I was skeptical about using it but I thought for a second, what’s the worst that could happen. So after watching a movie, we went shopping, got bags, shoes, accessories, more for Amelia and got a lot of things for schools for both her and Andrew, being on FaceTime with him until he finally joined us. 

We had both Jacob and Elijah carrying the shopping bags until Jacob had to leave since he had to go for 

“Thank you dear. You look radiant.” I complimented her as she had been coming to work these past few days with a glow that could only make me smile. 

She smiled shyly but didn’t say anything but rather began to list out the meetings I had for today. While she did that, I took off my jacket and placed it on the rack. 

“And by noon, I fixed lunch with one Mrs Martinez for lunch at Brandies, it’s a new restaurant-” She was still speaking when I processed the name of the client and cut her off. 

“Wait… Who did you say I was meeting with?.” She looked at her tablet and adjusted her glasses. 

“Her name is Mrs Flora Martinez, she’s an elite investor married to a billionaire. So I assumed she was interested in a partnership or they was an investment.” She responded looking confused as this was the first time I had even interrupted her like that, especially with a deep frown. 

I blinked slowly. “Mrs. Flora… Martinez?” 

It took everything in me not to let my voice betray the rush of emotions swirling inside. Elijah’s mother.
