Naylor smiled awkwardly but told the truth. "She's basically my future mother-in-law."
"Is that so? Weren't you strictly against marriage?"
"People's minds always change."
Dr. Thorne nodded in understanding before adding, "If you really care about the girl, you better hurry. If you wait any longer, her mother might not live to see you get married."
Naylor's expression darkened.
Dr. Thorne continued, "Three months at the earliest. If she maintains the best possible condition, half a year at most."
After delivering the news, Dr. Thorne patted Naylor heavily on the shoulder and turned to walk away.
Over by the ER, Katrina saw her mother being wheeled out and immediately rushed over to her.
Cassandra followed her friend, calling out to her the entire way, but received no response.
Willa was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for observation. Since family members weren't allowed inside, they could only stand guard outside the doors.
Naylor walked over. Before he could even say a word to Katrina, Julian charged forward and delivered a vicious punch straight to his jaw.
Although Naylor's reflexes were quick, he couldn't entirely dodge it. Agony instantly flared across his jaw, his inner lip splitting as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
The sudden attack startled everyone around them. Before anyone could react, Naylor relentlessly fired back, and the two men were instantly locked together, throwing punches and kicks.
Cassandra was terrified and frantically screamed for them to stop, but neither man paid her any mind.
"Katrina, hurry and stop them! Tell them not to fight, what's the point of this?!" Left with no other choice, Cassandra urged Katrina to intervene.
But at this point, Katrina despised both men equally and had absolutely zero interest in whether they lived or died.
"Katrina!"
"If you can't get them to stop, just call the cops," Katrina said with icy calm.
However, Cassandra didn't end up calling the police, because the hospital staff recognized Naylor and immediately called security to forcibly pull the two apart.
"You committed marriage fraud, and you still think you have the right to throw a punch?" Naylor wiped the blood from his mouth and let out a vicious sneer, stabbing right where it hurt. "Do you dare pull out those photos and let everyone enjoy the show?"
"What man doesn't have a past? Yours is a total mess too, isn't it? Otherwise, why would Willa object to you being with Katrina?" Julian had clearly done his research on Naylor, delivering a flawless counterattack.
Katrina just wanted peace and quiet, but the two of them were going at it like rabid lions. It gave her such a massive, agonizing headache that she simply screamed at them both. "You're exactly the same! What right do either of you have to tear each other down?! Don't worry, I don't want either of you! Now get the hell out of here, both of you!"
"Katrina..."
"Katrina—"

The news of Naylor crashing the wedding spread through their social circles that very day, causing a massive sensation.
Jamison heard about it and quickly relayed the story to Ivy.
Logically, since it was her best friend's wedding, Ivy should have absolutely been in attendance. But because she was heavily pregnant with twins, Jamison fiercely opposed her going into such a crowded place—and even Katrina herself strictly forbade her from showing up.
As a result, she missed out on witnessing the shockingly chaotic scene with her own eyes.
Upon hearing the news from her husband, Ivy was completely floored. "What? Naylor hijacked the wedding? He actually pulled something like that?"
Jamison offered a cryptic smile. "Since we were kids, there's never been a stunt he didn't dare to pull. He's exactly that kind of reckless rogue."
"..." Ivy stayed silent. Imagining the scene and combining it with how her best friend must have reacted, she wasn't sure if she should be happy or worried for her.
Once she snapped back to reality, she immediately called her best friend, only to be told Katrina didn't have her phone on her.
The makeup artist explained the situation, and Ivy immediately sent someone over to retrieve Katrina's phone and deliver it straight to the hospital.
An hour later, the two finally got on a call.
"Katrina, how are you? I just found out about what happened at the wedding. How is Willa doing? Are you at the hospital all alone?" Ivy asked, sick with worry for her friend.
