“Evelyn? She applied to Halewick University, I thought she had already told you.” Teacher Clarke.
The voice, filled with confusion, came through the phone, leaving Ethan momentarily stunned,
Halewick University? Did Evelyn really choose a university that far away in the end?
He remembered again how he accompanied Sophia to help Evelyn prepare for the start of school. Evelyn, who hesitated in the winter clothing section while buying clothes, how could he not understand? She had already made up her mind to go to Halewick University at that time.
Thinking, he felt a bit displeased in his heart. “Didn’t I tell you to have her apply to Cyndale Institute of Technology? She changed her preference herself, and you didn’t even Inform me?”
Listening to Ethan’s questioning, the homeroom teacher chuckled a few times and finally brought up the words Evelyn had said to her before.
“At that time, Evelyn said she had come of age and wanted to make her own decisions, asking me not to tell you. I thought you two had a disagreement, and I thought she would tell you herself once you both calmed down”
As soon as these words were spoken, Ethan suddenly choked.
But since Ethan found out Evelyn’s whereabouts, he didn’t want to say anything more to her and hung up the phone directly, then he called David. “Help me book a flight to Palmhollow as soon as possible.”
“Palmhollow? So far away?” David was also surprised upon hearing the destination. “But sir, you have a meeting tomorrow morning.”
Not long after the phone call ended, Ethan received the flight ticket information to Palmhollow, scheduled for two hours later.
He did not linger any longer and got on the car, heading straight towards the direction of the airport.
When he landed in Palmhollow, it was already 10 o’clock at night. He didn’t wait for the person David arranged to pick him up and hailed a taxi instead. After getting in the car, he immediately mentioned the name of Halewick University.
Halewick University was far from the airport, even by car it took nearly an hour. When Ethan arrived at Halewick University, it was already 11 o’clock at night. He checked the time and ultimately decided not to go directly to find Evelyn, but instead found a hotel near the school to stay.

Ch 50 Beginning of 4th Short story. Only 1 page. Incomplete. Summary from reading elsewhere: The world’s perfect couple. Husband is famous CEO who deals in jewelry and designed signature pieces for his beloved and doted on wife. To the world, and to her, they are they perfect loving couple, until she finds out he is having an affair with his Secretary. I can’t remember if it was a physical one or emotional (I can’t recall the correct name for it) one. Long story short, since she told him when she first agreed to be with him that if he ever betrayed her she would disappear from his world, she staged her suicide whilst exposing his affair (I think he also made custom designs for that woman or let her wear his signature piece for her) to the world. She moved abroad and opened a flower shop or something. He eventually finds her but I think she had quietly started dating someone else. Trying not to mix up stories. End the end, she doesn’t go back, he is miserable and regrets, I think he works himself to death, dies early and leaves everything to her....
Ch 49 End of Short Story 3. Too Late to Regret, I’ll call it. I like that she didn’t change her mind and she had valid points because even after realizing Carina’s presence and neediness and his catering to her ruined his family, he still hasn’t sent her packing. He could have had another friend hire her as a Secretary after regaining all the memories, but even after losing his wife and son behind his dealings with her and neglect of his wife and how he started to see her, he still indulged this woman and kept her on. I don’t like how the child isn’t mentioned in the end or how Wayne ended up in the end....
Ch 48 Oh, I like how this went. They both remain the same age but their circumstances changed… well hers did, and they just popped into the life they would have had. But that means theirs a child somewhere without parents but with his memories intact of who his parents were supposed to be since they kept their bodies....

I’m already not liking her thinking to make him change their past to fix their future. Leave him. He had the opportunity to do things right the first 7 sevens and correct mistakes in the last 5 with Carina....
