The screams of the man still rang in my ears hours after Connor had sliced off his arms like it was a casual stroll in the park.
For Sienna, the girl he bullied all his life.
And my Sia, had run to him, clung to him like he was the only man in this fucking room, the only one that mattered to her.
Something ugly had twisted in my heart to see him kiss her like that. And I was even more stunned to see her kiss him back. Fiercely.
I had only imagined how it would be between the two of them, hoping against hope that they still hated each other, that Sia will get over him after a while.
But tonight’s kiss and the way they both walked out of the room, leaving everybody stunned told me things had gotten out of hand way too far for my liking.
“Aaron! What are you staring at?”
I felt someone tug at my shoulder at first and then shake me vigorously.
“Aaron!!”
I blankly responded to my name and turned to the side. “Huh?”
“Let’s go!”
Sandra was nudging me away from the living room. I dazedly looked around and saw the guests had already started to leave.
Mom and Dad had also left while the elders were nowhere to be found either.
There were just a few servants running in with buckets of water and mop to clean the room, mopping away at the pool of blood and the fragments of glass alongwith metal chips scattered all around.
I should have followed dad or even the elders to figure out what they were thinking, what their next plan of action was going to be.
But I was too hung up on the fact that Connor and Sienna were quickly turning from arch rivals to something much more.
I looked at Sandra as she led me up the stairs and towards her room. She had a fine body, long legs, a perfect figure that made her look like a good catch.
Goddess knew how hard I had worked to get her to notice me, to spend time with me. But now as I looked at her ass swaying from left to right before me, I wondered if this could have been my Sia.

If she would look at me like I was the only one worth looking at.

My hopes were crashed when I realized she hadn’t been with a random resort employee back then with those pictures. If some other man had been able to make her forget Connor, I thought I definitely would.
But it had to be him.
Why did the Moon Goddess hate me so much? Why did she have to take everything from me and give it to that bastard who was my half brother?
Sienna’s face flushed and tear–streaked face that began glowing when Connor kissed her in front of everyone kept flashing behind my eyes. The way he had claimed her so publicly made me mad with anger.
Sandra was already in front of the large gilded mirror, her fingers angrily tugging at the clasps of her diamond necklace. The gown that had looked so regal on her earlier now seemed like a piece of rag she couldn’t wait to rip off.
“That little bitch,” she hissed, yanking the necklace free and tossing it onto the vanity with a clatter.
“Why does she always have to hijack everything? I worked so hard for tonight, kept smiling at those boring old fossils, playing the perfect future Luna and what happens? Everyone’s eyes on that helpless, miserable Sienna again.”
She reached behind her back, struggling with the zipper of her gown, cursing under her breath as it caught.
“I redid the living room, and did my best to lure Johanson. Yet one bloody outburst from Connor and suddenly Sienna was the center of the universe. Again!!”
I stood by the door, arms crossed, watching the perfect girlfriend I had gotten for myself. Both Sandra and I were angry at Sienna but for entirely different reasons.
I fucking couldn’t stop thinking about the way she had pressed herself against Connor like he was her salvation.
I wanted that. No, I fucking deserved that.
Sandra finally got the zipper down, letting the silver gown slide off her shoulders. It pooled at her feet, leaving her in nothing but lace lingerie. Her bare back was smooth and elegant in the mirror’s reflection.
She was beautiful and she was mine.
But she wasn’t Sienna.
I pushed off the door and walked toward her slowly. My hands slid over her shoulders, rubbing gently as if to calm her.
“Hey,” I murmured, voice soft and soothing. “It’s alright. Tonight was…. intense. But you handled yourself perfectly.”
Sandra leaned back into my touch, sighing. “She’s ruining everything, Aaron. Everything I’ve built.”

I pressed a kiss to the side of her neck, my hands sliding down her arms. In my mind, it wasn’t Sandra’s skin under my fingers. It was the softer and warmer skin of Sienna I had known for years. The same body I had imagined a thousand times already
“You’re the one who belongs by my side, and we will rebuild everything again” I whispered against her ear, my voice low and reassuring.
But I imagined it to be me and Sienna.
Sienna should be the one standing here, moaning my name.
Sandra turned in my arms, her eyes softening as she mistook my hunger for comfort. She kissed me, and I kissed her back bruisingly hard. My hands roamed her body, tearing at the lace until it gave way.
She gasped, surprised by the sudden roughness, but she smiled, thinking it was passion for her.
I lifted her onto the vanity, the bottles of cosmetics scattering to the floor with a crash. The mirror rattled behind her as I freed myself and thrust into her in one rough motion. She moaned, wrapping her legs around me, nails digging into my shoulders.
I closed my eyes, imagining, it was Sienna whimpering, of sliding inside her tight heat as she cried out for me.
I fucked Sandra like an animal and the mirror shook violently. Sandra’s moans grew louder, her body shaking as she came, and I almost cried out Sia but stopped myself at the last moment when I found my release.
