Three Years Later, He Came Back Begging novel Chapter 364

"It has been a while, Felton," Bonnie smiled. "So you're the best man. Are you looking for Ned?"

She was genuinely surprised to see him. After all, Felton was a guy she had once been set up on a blind date with.

She hadn't thought about him in years, so his sudden appearance caught her off guard.

But thinking about it, it made sense. Felton was Ned's college buddy, and they were close. It was perfectly logical for him to be the best man.

Felton wasn't surprised to see her either. He hadn't changed much. Even in a suit and bow tie, he still looked like a friendly guy next door.

His smile was still a bit shy.

"I thought it was you from a distance, and I was right. Come on, I'll take you to them."

She nodded and walked alongside him. Felton wasn't the type who could hide his thoughts. He kept glancing at her, looking like he wanted to say something but wasn't sure if he should.

"What do you want to ask?" Bonnie laughed softly. "Just spit it out."

Felton's face instantly turned red with embarrassment.

"It's nothing, I just didn't want to offend you. Um, I saw the stuff on the internet a while back. I was shocked when I realized it was you. I asked Ned and got the gist of the story. I really wanted to call you, but I never found the right time."

"I just wanted to say, Bonnie, you're incredibly strong. Really."

His gaze was entirely sincere. Bonnie smiled. "I'll accept the compliment... So, how have you been? Married? Tying the knot soon?"

At that, Felton looked a bit uncomfortable and scratched his head. "We broke up. After we got back together, it was on and off a few times. We finally decided to call it quits before we wasted any more of each other's time."

Bonnie's eyes crinkled with laughter. Helen was the most important friend she had ever had. Seeing her getting married today brought a tearful smile to her face.

Helen rolled her eyes, unable to handle the sentimentality. She pulled Bonnie down next to her, looking at her reflection in the mirror while getting her makeup done.

"Did you see Felton? I told him you were arriving, and he volunteered to go get you. That idiot is still carrying a torch for you. I gave him a piece of my mind."

Bonnie burst out laughing. "Why would you yell at him? It's been years, let it go."

"It wasn't just about that. He and his ex kept breaking up and getting back together, and every time they fought, he'd come crying to Ned. Honestly, just looking at him makes me want to yell."

"I think he's still into you. He casually asked if you were seeing anyone," Helen said, studying Bonnie in the mirror. "I told him you weren't, but honestly, looking at you... Did something happen with Lawrence again?"
