too late for a second chance novel (Lila and Dorian) novel Chapter 369

"You crazy woman!"

The organizer was so furious that he could hardly breathe. How dare Yelena accuse Kieran?

If she wanted to ruin herself, she should keep him out of it!

By now, the security guards had arrived. The organizer, too angry to care about his image, shoved Yelena toward them.

"Hurry up and get her out of here!"

The security guards didn't hesitate, grabbing hold of her and pushing her six feet away.

The organizer sighed in relief, but before he could fully relax, his breath hitched again when Kieran spoke.

"Wait."

"Mr. Morgan, please calm down. I'll handle this person properly."

But Kieran didn't even look at him. His gaze focused on Yelena, who was humiliated and seething with anger.

"Mr. Morgan." Yelena thought he might help her. "How dare they treat me like this in front of you? You need to punish them right now!"

She shot a furious glare at the security guards and the organizer.

The organizer's expression soured instantly.

Kieran's expression darkened, his eyes growing colder. "It seems you've misunderstood something."

Everyone strained to hear his words, and Yelena was left confused.

"Mr. Morgan, aren't you going to help me?"

"I have no relationship with you. It was Terry who saved my wife. Morgan Group hasn't forgotten that favor.

"Do you think Jones Group would have had the chance to participate in today's event if that weren't the case?"

Kieran's voice was like ice, sharp and chilling.

Yelena froze. "But I'm Terry's girlfriend. Shouldn't you…"

Before she could finish, Kieran had already turned away as though a second more of his attention was far too much.

Kieran hadn't even given her a second glance. If this event fell apart, the organizer was done for.

The Bolton family was finished, and the Locke family was a mess. He alone had no strength to offend Kieran.

After getting rid of her, the organizer quickly had someone fetch a gift.

However, Kieran didn't seem interested.

The organizer quickly picked up on this. "Girls love these little cotton dolls. Your wife will like this."

As he spoke, he opened the box to reveal a cute little doll in a light pink dress with a tiny crossbody bag. The doll had light brown hair braided into two petite pigtails and a hairpin matching the dress.

It looked like a toy for a two or three-year-old.

Kieran wasn't sure if Lila would like it, but she did have a lot of dolls.

"It's quite cute." Cole couldn't help but comment.

Kieran shot him a look. Realizing his remark was unnecessary, Cole immediately smiled, trying to cover up his awkwardness.
