Too Late Mr. White! I'm Married To Your Rival Now novel Chapter 130

Aria's POV

Just when I was at a loss for what to do, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration. "Um, I just remembered I have something to take care of..."

"Is that so?" Aiden responded, his voice several notes deeper than usual.

For some reason, every time I heard him say those two words, I felt like he didn't believe me. This conditioned response immediately made me feel flustered and guilty.

"I really, really do have something!" I stammered.

"Oh."

He made a sound of acknowledgment and released the hand that had been resting on my back, but his left hand on the nape of my neck never withdrew.

I could feel him stroking my cervical vertebrae one by one, each touch perfectly calibrated—neither too heavy nor too light, the warmth of his fingertips penetrating through my skin straight to my nerve endings.

"You seemed to particularly enjoy it when I touched you before." His voice sounded like he was stating a fact.

"I... I don't remember," I replied dryly.

"Would you like me to help you recall?"

Hearing this, I froze, completely at a loss for how to respond. This suggestive topic made my whole body heat up, my mind going completely blank.

"Just teasing you." Just when I didn't know what to do, Aiden suddenly chuckled softly and released his hand.

I felt like I'd been granted amnesty, secretly breathing a sigh of relief. Aiden had already leaned back into his seat, his gaze directed forward, lost in thought about something.

I didn't dare stay beside him any longer. I braced myself against the ground, trying to get up and leave, but was stopped by his sudden question: "You really like kissing me, don't you?"

"No, it's not like that! Let me explain!" I frantically protested.

But he didn't listen to my explanation at all. One arm encircled my waist, and with a gentle pull, I was drawn into his embrace. I felt he was somehow different tonight, but I couldn't pinpoint what was wrong.

"How convenient," he whispered close to my ear, "because I really like kissing you too."

As soon as the words left his lips, I felt his mouth cover mine. This wasn't a butterfly-light peck, but an aggressive, deep kiss. His tongue skillfully parted my lips, exploring my mouth, tangling with mine.

I melted into a puddle in his arms, my hands weakly resting on his broad shoulders. His hands began to wander restlessly, slowly moving upward from my waist until they settled on my chest. Through the thin fabric of my clothes, his palms radiated scorching heat, making me unconsciously arch my body.

"Aiden..." I murmured his name between kisses.

His response was even more passionate kisses and more brazen caresses. His fingers nimbly undid the buttons of my shirt, one, two... until my upper body was covered only by my underwear. Then his lips left mine, trailing down my jaw and neck, leaving a string of wet, hot marks.

"Last time in the office, you cried and begged me to go slower," he whispered in my ear, his voice huskier than usual. "I'll be gentler tonight."

I hadn't expected him to bring up last time, and my face immediately flushed. That time had indeed been somewhat wild—I could barely get out of bed the next day. But now, remembering that passion, I felt a surge of excitement instead.
