Warren stared at her blankly.
"Ever heard of Necrotic Catalyst? That's what this is.\nIf we kill you and sprinkle a bit of this on you, your body will vanish without a trace. We won't face a single problem.\nIf you don't believe me, I can test a little on you right now."
Saying that, Mira stepped toward Warren, holding the packet high.
"No, don't! I believe you!"
Warren screamed.
His whole body trembled, his voice shaking uncontrollably.
The confidence he had when he first questioned Mira and her group had completely evaporated.
"Start talking. Tell us everything you know."
Mira crossed her legs and sat back on the sofa.
"I didn't want to work for her. My inn was doing just fine. But she took my son, and I had no choice but to do her bidding.\nIf I went against her wishes, Mishka would torture him to death..."
"She does this all the time. We've all seen it. She's a monster... a pure monster..."
Warren sobbed, wiping his tears.
"When did she take your son?"
Mira asked.
"Three years ago. She only lets me see him once a year..."
"What do they want with your son? Are they keeping him in a hospital?"
"No, she doesn't keep dead weight around. She forces my son to work as an orderly, doing hard labor."
"Can you contact him?"
"No. Only once a year."
Warren's face was etched with terror.
"Get up. Follow our orders from now on, and you'll be perfectly safe."
Owen said.
"What about Mishka?"
