The two of them pushed the door open, scanning every face to find Sienna.
But after looking over every single woman in the room, they still couldn't find her.
Natalie didn't know what Sienna looked like. She checked the housing roster again and let out a frustrated sigh. "Mira, did we get the wrong room? Could there be another Sienna Stanford with the exact same name?"
"But out of all the lists, there's only one Sienna Stanford.
Even if there is someone with the exact same name, I still need to confirm it."
Natalie turned to the dorm manager again. "Which one is Sienna?"
Daisy hesitated for a moment before pointing to a corner. "I think that's her."
As the two approached, the woman huddled in the corner began to shake uncontrollably. She buried her head between her knees, muttering endlessly, "It wasn't me, it wasn't me..."
Now Mira could confirm it: all eight women in this dorm suffered from a severe psychiatric disability!
And it was bad.
Mira shook her head helplessly. Even with her extensive medical expertise, reversing mental trauma this severe was incredibly difficult.
Mira desperately tried to figure out if the trembling woman in front of her was actually Sienna. But since she refused to look up, there was no way to tell.
She turned to Natalie. "What do you think could get her attention?"
Just getting her to lift her head for a second would be enough.
Natalie thought about it. "I don't know. I heard... I heard she was sent to one of *those* places..."
"What kind of places?"
Mira didn't catch her drift.
"You know... *that* kind of place. Like a brothel from the dark ages..."
Natalie was still young, and some things were just too hard for her to say out loud.
