"Mira, the dean wants to see you."
The three of them had just reached the classroom door when they heard someone call out. It was a boy from another class.
"Now?"
"Yes, right now."
"Don't tell me that little witch reported you?" Liora guessed.
"It's fine. I'm not afraid of her. You two go back to the classroom."
Mira gave them a reassuring look and turned to leave.
"Call us if anything happens," Celine added, still worried.
"I will."
Reborn, she was no longer afraid of anyone.
She walked into the dean's office. The vice-principal was there too. After greeting them, Mira sat down across from them.
"Did you confront Ms. Crowe this morning?"
Mira nodded. "You want to know the truth, right? I have it right here."
Mira took out her phone.
"How do you have the classroom's surveillance footage?"
"The commotion was pretty big. Someone filmed it and sent it to me."
The classroom surveillance footage could only be accessed with the principal's authorization in special circumstances.
Actually, when Evelyn Crowe had come to them to complain, the two of them had already guessed it was her fault.
This Ms. Crowe was talented, but she was an operator, and her ethics were questionable.
They had a general understanding of the students in Senior Class 1, especially the ones she had mentioned. It was unlikely they would confront her without reason.
They had considered replacing her before, but it was hard to find a substitute on short notice.
She was teaching a graduating class, a crucial role, and her students had consistently achieved good results in the past.
Competition between schools was fierce now. If a replacement teacher wasn't competent, it would directly affect the college entrance exam scores and the school's ranking.
